Alice in Wonderland (I) (2010)

Was expecting more.

I was excited when this movie came out and went to see it in theaters.

Unfortunately, I was let down by the dull characters and uninteresting dialogue. The lead actress was especially bland--she has no memory of this place but seems as bored and uninterested with this magical place as I was.

I was expecting more from a movie based off of Alice In Wonderland and just did not like Tim Burton's take on it. Lots of CGI and colors will not mask a boring script and bad acting.

I probably will not bother watching the sequel if it looks to be anything like this movie was.

Disappointing and very predictable.

This film to me was basically a typical, cheesy detective/mystery TV show with some sex thrown in so as to make it long enough to be called a movie.

By calling it cheesy, I mean that it was cliché and very predictable. As soon as the killer came on screen, I whispered to my boyfriend, "That's the killer," and I was right. The ending was obviously going to end the way that it did. I just wasn't surprised by the movie at all and found myself getting bored and impatient. My boyfriend suggested we leave the theater because he saw I wasn't enjoying it but I stayed, hoping it would get better by the end.

The acting was good, which is why I gave it 5 stars. Overall I was very disappointed, especially after expecting so much more from the high rating on IMDb. If I had watched the movie with lower expectations, I probably would have rated it higher.
