My Go To For Comedic Relief Ever Time Also Watch It With You Bestie
20 June 2019
This show is not for the faint of heart or the easily offended, but I never get tired of watching it. When I'm having a bad day I put it on and let the comic stylings of Max and Caroline soothe me. Kat Dennings has always been one of my favorites and she delivers her one liners brilliantly. Beth does a great job too and really pulls at my heart strings. All of the characters are equally horrible and you probably wouldn't like them at first in real life, but given a chance they could become your new best friend. I like to think that Max Black is my spirit animal, if I was a little meaner and didn't care what I said to people. I just love how care free she is and how she always says what's on her mind. The best thing about the show without a doubt, at the heart of the show is the friendship that these two girls have for each other. They both come from completely different worlds, but manage to create a new and better life together. They teach each other so much and become the family that the other never had, they are sisters in every since. It's definitely a show you can and would want to watch with your best friend.

This could be the movie to spark a new generation of hope and justice.

A true eye opener to a major world issue.

I was fortunate enough to be able see this movie at a film festival and meet the director who is affiliated with the church in Orange County from which the film was completely funded, hence the Christian overtones and I just want to say how amazing it was for them to put the time and hard work into promoting such an awful in grievance that so many will turn a blind eye to. This isn't the first movie that has opened my eyes to human slavery, especially were children are involve, but it certainly has left a lasting impression and I encourage everyone to see this movie young and old alike. I actually took my 13 year old niece with me and she is now spreading the word and wearing the bracelet to support this cause. I truly believe I children will be the ones to change these awful abuses in the future so educating them now is the way to start. Just like the movie points out, none of us is free if one of us is enslaved.
