More, more, more

I absolutely loved this tv series! Excellent cast with some really interesting characters throughout.

I couldn't get enough of this... I would happily watch S1 and S2 all over again, in fact I might just do that... The plot is great. The characters are all deep/interesting both in a group and as individuals in the storyline(s).

The main cast/characters are so good in each series. You can't help but fall for the Leaphorns, Bernadette and Chee.

It's refreshing to get a series that's enough in itself to not need nudity, sex etc thrown in just for the sake of it.

I hope there are many seasons to follow...

Salem (2014–2017)

Missed Opportunity!! Why finish after only 3 series??

If you haven't watched Salem you really need - it's a total binge worthy watch. I fell hook, line and sinker for it and thoroughly enjoyed all 3 series. I happened to stumble across it by accident whilst looking for something else. Starting off I found it a little slow but that didn't last long at all. It was so entertaining. I enjoyed it so much I watched it twice and recommended it to friends. Anyone I asked had never heard about it. So begs the question as to why did this not get further promotion? There must have been very little publicity and/or marketing of Salem here in Europe at the time of its release. It's a pity that it didn't get the exposure it so well deserved especially in part for all of those involved in making it. An opportunity missed. Saying that it's never too late... I found the storylines intriguing. It was easy to follow considering there was so much going on in it. The costumes were simply out of this world, Mary's standing out that little bit more as she grew more powerful as the storyline progressed. The acting, location, set, special affects, makeup etc were all excellent. The whole production was top notch which makes it even more baffling as to why it didn't get pushed further. I keep harping on but it was so disappointing it ended after only 3 series. I'm sure I wasn't the only one to fall in love with it. As a tv series Salem was bursting at the seams, colorful characters each more interesting than the next. It ticked all the boxes. Personally I believe it had the potential to be a major hit.

I was really enjoying mini series and felt the story was only beginning... then it was over! What the hell? Why not tell the whole story?
