Promising Young Woman (2020)

Could have been so much better.

Just wayyy too many mistakes in this film. One second you feel like you're watching a really really good movie, and the next scene feels like it's a super low budget film with bad acting and goofs that I don't understand how were overlooked.

If this was done right, this could have been an amazing movie. I was expecting a lot more after everything I had been told prior to watching it. Just felt like it tried to be something it wasn't.

If you click on a series like this obviously you are looking for something silly and something that will make you laugh. If you didn't click on this expecting something else this is exactly the show you're looking for.

I honestly didn't think it was going to be as good as it was, it had me giggling and had some great life lessons. If you're looking for something you don't have to take serious give this a try. I had to write this with all the crazy low reviews.

Murder on Middle Beach (2020)

I had to step in here because people make garbage reviews based off watching only a few minutes. Episode 1 does start slow but there's a reason for that and if you watch the 2nd episode you understand why. We don't choose our parents y'all. It's kinda unfair to say "I can't watch this because he grew up privileged". It's actually a refreshing twist on most true crime doc's with the son of the murder victim being the one asking all the questions, and half the time, it's the first time anyone has asked them these questions (Police really seemed to have dropped the ball on this investigation) while also learning things about his mother and his family that he never knew growing up. The pilot was enough for me to want to know a little more and EP.2 has really gripped me in and gave me more than I expected after the pilot. Don't be turned off by weird reviews. In the pilot you kinda think you already know who committed the murder but that quickly changes. I'm very interested to see how the rest of this doc plays out.

(I hate leaving reviews for an entire series before the series is finished but I had to with some of the things I was reading. I will come back after the series is over to leave a proper review. So far 8/10 but I'll leave a 9 to balance out some of weird reviews)

The series finale at the end of season 3 is one of the best endings I've ever seen to a series. I loved the series from the start but that ending just knocked it out of the park. I'm not going to write any spoilers but go watch this series if you haven't!

I see bad reviews but they end with "I stopped at episode 6 of season 1. It's trash" wtf? Please do not comment if you have not finished the series or at least a season. Brilliant series. HBO and David Simon hit a homerun on this one. Based off the true story of Deep Throat, taking back in time to the legendary 70s era of New York and the gritty strip of the Deuce. Tremendous.

This should have been season 9 finale.

This first episode of season 10 should have taken place on the last episode of season 9. Last season left off with not much happening. Fiona left and that was about it when it comes to anything major. Having season 9 leave off with the baby being born and Tami possibly dead would have been a better way to end the season than the way it's played out. All in all this season is off to a better start than season 9

Better than all of season 9

After a pretty dull season 9 with mostly pointless storylines finally something happens that makes you take a step back and say "damn". Fiona is now out of the intro and it's now Debbie taking a pee. So from the jump we know Debbie has taken over for Fiona 100% now. Hopefully they can find a way to get back to their roots and what made this one of the best shows on t.v. after being highly disappointed with season 9.
