Twenty years later and I am still surprised at how much this represents the media's choices. It really shows the hypocrisy and bandwagoning that people tend to participate in, even today.

Good Intentions... Executed Poorly

I think that the story for this movie is actually good, the problem is how it was executed. The sudden switch between most scenes in the early parts of the movie try to create an interesting build up for the third act, but they are horribly acted and very boring.

I don't think that a slow beginning to a movie is necessarily a bad thing, but the scenes in question just try to provoke an emotional response that is not worth exploring to the viewer.

While the battle scenes are certainly entertaining and very awesome, they do not make up for the plot during the first 2/3rds of the movie being incredibly subpar.
