Breach (2020)
Good sweet lord this is s**t!
What absolute unmitigated b*******t this film is. There is zero plot, zero explanation for anything. Lots of decent actors who clearly had bills to pay or were made to do it by some gangster heavy because nobody in their right mind would voluntarily star in this. It is rubbish. Save yourself an hour and a half of your life.
Monstrous (2020)
Absolute garbage
Essentially click bait with far more focus on the lesbian relationship that the dirty great Yeti knocking about in the woods. A total waste of my time. To add insult to injury it isn't even that well made.
The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992)
Glorious
I am a tiny bit biased but I watched this at the cinema with my Dad when I was a kid and nearly 30 years later it remains my favourite Christmas movie. Fab songs, fab cast and a lovely film that brings back lots of happy memories.
Throwback (2015)
Just awful.
I love a good monster movie. I freely admit I do not have the highest standards with what monster movies I watch but sweet baby Jesus this is poor even by my standards.
Pretty much the only plus is Vernon Wells letting off some steam.
The Strangers: Prey at Night (2018)
So much stupid.
They don't deserve to survive. The decisions the parents and kids make are painfully dense and the removal of all four from the gene pool is a kindness. I won't say who lives and dies just that it's a pity it isn't all of them.
It just makes no sense most of the film is shot in such poor (presumably meant to be atmospheric) lighting it's hard to see what's going on. I realise it takes place at night but seriously at times a well place light would have helped.
Sweatshop (2009)
I've obviously missed something.
It's not particularly suspenseful. It is woefully written. You don't even slightly care if the characters live to fight another day and several of them you are quite pleased to see die. The monster is reasonably scary but wasted in such a poor effort writing/acting wise. If gore is your thing this might be for you but if you like being scared by a clever horror film it's most definitely not.
Wolf (2019)
Robbed of 85 minutes of my life.
It's utter rubbish. The plot is nowhere to be seen. The special effects are from the pound shop. The dialogue is painful.
I sat through it and went straight to customer service to ask for my money back.
My teenage daughters have made better TikToks that this pile of absolute horse c**p.
