A refreshing take while still holding true to character
2 October 2022
As someone who not only read the books by the late Anne Rice, but holds this series as the pinnacle of my personal literary awakening- this adaptation is amazing. While not literarily accurate to the characters, I find that the actors embody the core personalities of the characters so well that it doesn't matter the century or race. The essence of the story and the themes are carried out in such a refreshing way

This is by far my favorite interpretation of these characters. And that is saying a lot to me, personally Louis and Lestat nailed it.

I highly recommend the show and give praise to the actor playing Lestat. He is absolutely perfect!!!!!!

Surpassing a high bar
18 August 2022
I grew up with the original movie. It was a staple for a girl who liked playing sports in the 90s. I still quote the famous line, "There's no crying in baseball!".

So when I say this show has surpassed my expectations, know it took an extremely high bar to do so.

Not only does this interpretation hit all the same feels the original did, but it expands on the actual misogyny, racism, and homophobia of the time.

Give this show the shot it deserves!

Better than you'd think
6 June 2019
I am rating slightly higher than I normally would, mainly because the current rating is overall crap. This episode provides fun and insightful commentary despite the messed up circumstances. Just because it isn't dire and unnerving like other prominent Black Mirror episodes does not mean it was crap.

Entertaining and impressed with Miley. She's really coming into her own.

Sir Terry Pratchett would be proud
1 June 2019
I've been a fan of the book, but I am always skeptical with adaptations. This episode proves that the spirit and wit that I loved so much in the books is alive and well in this series.

Thank you for doing it justice

Tennant and Sheen shine
1 June 2019
This episode is my personal favorite. Tennant and Sheen really come into their own as characters, and their chemistry radiates thru their characters.

So much so that it lends heart to the series in a way that I don't think can be accomplished with any other actors.

This episode proved that the casting was perfect.

It's Perfect. Thank You, Neil

I've been a fan of Neil Gaiman's since high school, and I can honestly say Good Omens was one of my favorites. Not only did it introduce me to the wonderful writing of Terry Pratchett, but it was such an entertaining read I couldn't put it down.

This series was a better interpretation that I was expecting. It felt like reading the book again- including the little Easter eggs that refer to the footnotes in the book.

This is perfect. Terry Pratchett would approve. Thank you Neil for doing him and yourself justice.
