UFO (2018)

Not a typical UFO fiction

You can enjoy this if you are more like a nerd, There is not much of UFO or Aliens you would expect in other fictional movies, it more of science and mathematics.

Good overall flow and good acting. Some of the scenes seem not required, for example drug bust. Some of the events are left open, like Police not following up on Derek's residence and computer break in. If Natalie was not in the movie, it would not have made any difference.

Not having any special effects or CGI makes this more realistic and relatable. There is some suspense that keeps you interested till the end. If you liked " Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind", you definitely enjoy watching this.

This is not straight copy of found footage, instead movie based a footage from a military expedition. This is how the movie will be if this is given as a project to interns who scored below passing grade.

Title looked interesting and Sharon Stone is in the cast, so I thought this should be a good movie to watch. I was disappointed. Story is not stitching together, different tribes sprinkled across add no value and overall plot looks poorly framed. Not worth your time.

It starts off as an interesting movie, seems to get better with first breakup of a couple after playing spin the bottle game. It appeared the game which involved everyone making out acing as a catalyst to bring out underlying issues resulting in the breakup. However, after this, it is just wash, rinse, drain, spin repeat cycle with each couple and boring. End is worst part of this movie, just meaningless and for no reason everyone splits and sleeps with other.

This is about relationships

The movie is more about relationships between different types of people (teenagers, old people, rich celebrities, low social status etc.) and how they deal with relations. There are very serious discussions about life and relations. Well written screenplay, good direction and good acting. Best conversation is the pre-nup discussion between two celebrities.

It is a good documentary on crop circles. Covers discussions and opinions, scientific tests and open questions. Most of the discussions are good and it sort of turns into conspiracy propaganda from documentary towards the end when one of the narrators seems to know exactly how the pyramids were built and why they were built.

Horrible direction and horrible acting. I watched this movie as I had read a book by Jenny McCarthy that was well written and a number of awards mentioned for this movie. After watching the movie, I checked what were the awards, and no wonder they are Razzie Awards for "Worst Actress" and "Worst Screenplay". There are meaningless scenarios. I have no idea how her having period in a grocery store is related to the story or strip search when she is wearing a maxi pad has anything to do with the story. It is not at all a comedy, I did not find puking on her boobs or period in the supermarket or fish in the butt funny, they were disgusting scenes. Only good acting in this movie is by Eddie Kaye Thomas, rest are horrible.

Watching this for 90 minutes was a real torture that is no less than the torture endured by Aimy in the movie. Horrible direction, no entertainment value, no educational value, not artistic, ... I just wonder what was this movie about. Looks like a high school project.

It is a boring movie progressing slowly. There is no cohesive story line. Alien form looks odd and how the alien language is cracked does not look realistic. Military attempt to blow up a ship and let the experts stay in the ship to be blown away looks unprofessional. let alone decision to blow up being taken lightly. Not worth your time.
