In this film, Batman is sad. Cat woman is a poor representation and the ending scenes are very predictable.
That being said, this is a decent film. We see batman's detective skills in full swing. The Riddler's portrayal is good (Though not as good as Cory Michael Smith) and the set up for a second film with The Joker is fun.
If we're to compare it to The Dark Knight, It's nowhere near but it does do somethings better. Where The Dark Knight drones on with extended action scenes such as the craic in Asia, The Batman instead spends the same 20 minutes figuring out that a clue is under the carpet.
Was it as good as the Hype? No. Is it deserving of the current rating (8/10)? No. Do I want to see another? 100% yes.
