Lover (2023)
THE DRAMA OF 2023!!
What can I say - this drama is a masterpiece. The storyline, the filming locations, the cinematography the music. It really is the complete package. The first couple of episodes they build the foundation to the story, it seems a bit 'fluffy' - spoilt female lead living a privileged life, waiting for the man of her dreams to step up. However things change rapidly in the next few episodes and the story takes a much more serious turn. War is not pretty and bad things happen during war and conflict. From this point the drama goes from being good to epic. It draws you in. Although a drama and not a film, it really for me is along the lines of big blockbuster epic sagas like The Last Samurai and Braveheart. Because it has many episodes you can get really invested in the characters and the story. The male and female leads have amazing chemistry. The male lead is always outstanding in any work he does, but he nails the character here. The music throughout is so beautiful and some of the songs are hauntingly beautiful. I highly recommend this drama to anyone. Go into it with an open mind and by ep 3 you will be hooked. X.
The Story of Park's Marriage Contract (2023)
A lovely drama!!! - If you loved Legend of the blue sea this one is for you !!
I really enjoyed this drama. It had the right amount of romance, comedy and a back story. Sometimes in Korean dramas the comedy can be too much or too silly. They got it just right and I had a few laugh out loud moments. The female lead was a really likeable character and the development of how she changed once in modern times was quick but it all flowed. I loved the fashion she wore as it related to the character. The male lead had CEO green flag vibes and he played the character really well. The second lead couple were cute too. This drama definitely gave me Legend of the blue sea vibes so if you enjoyed that drama you will enjoy this. I binge watched all the episodes as didnt start to watch initially on the release date however once caught up I anxioulsy waited for the weekly releases.
Oasis (2023)
So so good.
So good for a piece of work to be set in the 1980's with a theme often covered but not always done well. Starting off I was unsure where this was headed as the photo for the series and the blurb wasnt very clear about the complete subject. But I am hooked and anxiously waiting for episode 10 next week. The lead actors are all great. The chemistry is good and it's refreshing to have a strong willed female love interest. The female baddie is truly awful. The storyline flows and keeps you wanting to keep watching and I have no idea about the ending - praying for a happy one. Huge congratulations to all the team involved.
Its right up there with the best in my opinion.

10 Stars isnt enough.
Fantastic drama. Not one boring episode or usual K drama filler scenes. Plot twists and surprises. Lead actor and actresses do an amazing job. Genuine chemistry throughout all the different relationships. You feel for what this man has endured during his life and his pain and mental suffering was acted out superbly without looking fake or over acted. Sometimes in dramas the crying can be a bit over the top but the actors/actresses displayed their emotions genuinely and honestly. The supporting members of the cast were also characters you grew to love hate and I personally would not change any of the actors/actresses in their roles. A massive well done to everyone who gave time to create this masterpiece. I highly recommend this to be added to your watch list. You will not be disappointed.
Jaebeoljib Maknaeadeul (2022)
Outstanding - a must watch.
Forget any bad reviews. I have watched a lot of dramas and this is right up there with the best. All the actors especially the leads were outstanding. I literally counted the hours to the next episode and could easily watch it all again. 16 episodes was perfect and not dragged out and it didn't feel like a rushed ending. I think it even left room for a season 2 as lots of characters still could have further stories to unfold. The Chairmans character went from hate to love and back during the series. Song Joon Ki proves how adaptable he is to different roles and chooses his projects carefully. I encourage you to binge watch this series as soon as you can. Now if possible!!!!!

Ignore the reviews !!
So I have been watching K Dramas for a while and know a lot of the cliches and the regular storylines you see a lot. I really delayed watching this drama as some of the reviews on here were not really rating the drama. So I finally started watching it a couple of days ago and all I can say is wow! For anyone who hasnt watched it start now. Its a great storyline and the actors and actresses are fantastic. I binge watched it till 4am this morning just to see the end of Park Seryous story. You have a solid storyline that keeps you wanting to watch to the end and get onto the next episode everytime. The story shows you life can be cruel and things dont always go you way. It leaves you thinking about life for a while after too. I could easily watch it all again. Great work by the actors believable characters.
Dalui Yeonin - Bobogyungsim Ryeo (2016)
Outstanding.
Binged watched the whole series. Great cast - the relationships portrayed where very honest and believable. The whole series had you on a rollercoaster of emotions. They changed up the way you felt about characters making you love and hate them. Tears flowed from Ep 16 onwards. The ending left answers shame there isnt a second season. Well done to all the cast.
Hamburo Aeteuthage (2016)
Absolute rollercoaster.
Kim Woo Bin - I defy you not to be moved by this very talented actor in this drama. He acts with dignity, courage and strength. Bae Suzy is great in the female role and they had great chemistry. She brought humour and love to the drama. The past can be put right and good can overcome evil. Yes not always the happy ending we wish to see but life just isn't always like that.
I look forward to watching the talented Kim Woo Bin in Our Blues next.
Seumuldaseot Seumulhana (2022)
