The Christmas Sitters (2020)
Sad. Shameful. Delete.
If you have recorded the Hallmark movies for this Christmas season you can delete this one before you even try to watch it. It is SAD that some at Hallmark have chosen to create and air storylines and movies alternative to real family entertainment. It is SHAMEFUL that they are trying to pass this off as worthy of our viewing time.
We wish others had saved us from starting this movie. The kids didn't see it, thank goodness. Many of our family and friends began passing the word around and were saved the embarrassment and shock at such an awful attempt at a story.
Thank goodness we now have the Great American Family channel and decent family entertainment.
NCIS: Hawai'i (2021)
Storyline Ruined
What could have been a decent storyline was ruined by the promotion of an unnatural relationship. They keep shoving this lesbian relationship as normal when it is unneeded and pandering to an extreme group. It is time for them to write this out of the show and get back to normal relationships for supporting purposes only.
More time ahould have been spent on developing the storylines on the criminals and the why of the steal. Maybe how they got the equipment in. Or why the Navy so easily let a car full of civilians into a receiving area.
This series is becoming less and less worth watching. We already do not let kids watch this due to the lesbian relationship. Now as the storylines are becoming les and less interesting there may be fewer reasons for adults to watch this.
Don't Look Up (2021)
Trying to Masquerade as Entertainment
The politically motivated agenda in this film tries to masquerade as entertaining satire but fails in too many ways. From the poor story line to the acting.
Not worth the time even to try to understand what those behind the political agenda are trying to say.
Ted Lasso (2020)
Consistent Offensive Content
The consistent highly offensive language and over the top sexual content make this one a hard pass in our family.
We simply don't need this in our house, eyes or ears.
Coyote Creek Christmas (2021)
Hallmark Fails
A tired plot, forced gay couple story and poor acting create another Hallmark failure. New actors could make for a more believable story. Hallmark needs to stop pushing the gay story lines. It just means the families turn off these movies without suffering through them.
South Beach Love (2021)
Forced ethnic movie fails
This one fails on many levels. Hallmark tried to create an ethnic Latin movie that just misses. A tired story line and acting that is not too believable contributes to this.
I Still Believe (2020)
Real
Based on a very real story this movie seems to be close reality. It moves you as the topics of faith and love are brought forward.
It's a Wonderful Life (1946)
A True Classic with a Timeless Message
This is one of those movies that should be watched at least once every Christmas season. Well cast and acted. Good cinematography for the time. A story of what is really important in life.
Bring your family around the TV and watch this one together and enjoy this movie.
USS Christmas (2020)
A Unique Christmas Story Setting
This "learn about a story of romantic love" movie had a unique setting - aboard a naval ship. It is definitely family safe and worth a watch. Nicely done Hallmark.
If I Only Had Christmas (2020)
Uplifting and Family Worthy
Finally a Hallmark movie this year that is family worthy. Clean and uplifting with positive messages for the viewers. Acting is better than many other Hallmark titles.
Chateau Christmas (2020)
Another Hallmark Music Focused Movie
Another movie where a musician feels that they have lost their passion but important people in their life help them rediscover their passion. Filmed, at least in part, in beautiful Whistler, BC had us looking at the scenes and witching we could experience Christmas there.
Deliver by Christmas (2020)
Predictable Story Line
This movie was a bit flat on acting in addition to having that predictable story line. It was one we watched without feeling the need to follow every moment.
Wedding Every Weekend (2020)
Not for family viewing
The introduction of homosexuality in a Hallmark movie caught the family off guard. We can not recommend this movie.
History 101: Oil and the Middle East (2020)
Bias is Blatant
The anti-American bias becomes very apparent in this episode. Making factually inaccurate statements and omitting facts this episode attempts to paint a negative picture of the ISA.
Designated Survivor (2016)
Netflix Ruins Designated Survivor
Inserting foul language and unnecessary homosexual storylines causes this title to become cheapened and not worth the time. Our family had to stop watching or skip much of these Season 3 episodes.
