Levski (2015)
1/10
Abominable in every respect
24 March 2024
A horrible film in every aspect. A joke with Bulgaria's greatest national hero. A film with no artistic value. A film with untalented actors, who don't know how to be naturally in front of the cameras. An absurd argument that doesn't tell the real story. A parody of Vasil Levski's personality. Attempted Bollywood-style action scenes, mixed with western, but without the cawboys because there's Levski shooting with two pistols in both hands - Neo style in The MatriX. And finally, Levski using cynical language.

In short, horrible director, horrible plot, Horrible editing, horrible writing, horrible dialogues, actors who think it's a play or are just lousy and can't contribute more.

Far from the historical figure of Vasil Levski, he does not tell of his merits, his knowledge, his contributions, the cause for his worldwide recognition and the magnitude of his activity. In that film, Levski is nothing more than a village jerk, who in the end even surrenders and surrenders to the few soldiers who come and hang him, as if he were a chicken thief.

The Bad Seed Returns (2022 TV Movie)

Just great acting of Ella Dixon
25 January 2023
10 points for Ella Dixon great acting, she looks like a diamond in the rough. She brings out the most of her character, creating some mystery with her body expression.

But the plot of the movie is too simple, too predictive and there is 0 suspense or something to make you think after the end.

The characters in general seem naive, their decisions and acts in front of tragic facts are very unreal.

Frankly, the thing I really liked is Ella Dixon's performance, that manages to give her character a bit of depth, since the plot doesn't give us much.

I enjoyed watching the movie, but I don't think it's one I'll watch again after a while.

Jennifer Beals great adition
13 March 2022
The new adition of Jennifer Beals as Cassandra Webb is great. Her character is really interesting, she is charming but with malice - looks like a real villian. I know Cassandra Webb is a recurrent character, but i hopping for a good develop in next episodes.

It need season 3 to fix all that xxxxx
8 October 2021
The special ingredient - Tibette- that made the original series legendary is desperately missing!!! The magic of Tibette (Tina+Bette family) is not about being not straight but about love. Disastrous approach, it needs to be fixed in season 3.

Jennifer Beals and Laurel Holloman together have special chemistry on screen, the show runners need to better job with their characters!

The L Word: Generation Q (2019–2023)

For now is like Jenny Schecter's version
24 September 2021
Jennifer Beals shines with her perfect acting. She is an really great actress, enormous talent, a lot of class and undoubted beauty. Being Bette Porter as always is just perfect. BUT, the new tv show is just as Jenny Schecter's version of The L Word. The storyline of the most beloved characters is disastrous. It feels like watching the Star Wars movie sequels (the worst classic movie sequels). The original the L word made a lot of mistakes along the lines of Bette and Tina, but at least in the end they reunited as a family. The sequel news gave hope that the error would be corrected and we would finally enjoy Bette and Tina as the roll model of the same-sex family based on love, respect, and values (Jennifer Beals and Laurel Holloman together are a real television phenomenon, they creating a iconic couple appreciated not only by the LGBT community, but by all of us) . Is not a satisfying continuation of the lives of loved characters, surrounded by new friends and productive challenges. In seassons 1 and 2 Is missing to have Bette and Tina the way we expects, as the creators have decided to separate them unecessary, without any good explane and introduce behaviors and choices that do not match Bette and Tina's life experience. The show needs the full chemistry between Beals and Holloman as Bette and Tina together again. Hopefully there is season 3 and we can see Tina and Bette, and Angie of course, together and happy as a family, facing new challenges and reafirming that the love is most powerful as everything.
