Just Legal (2005–2006)
10/10
Wow, I can't believe it is a canceled show
6 August 2006
Warning: Spoilers
I just watched the first episode and loved it. I came here to get more info on the show and was so disappointed to learn is a canceled series from 2005. Don Johnson was wonderful in it. The first episode had me hooked and looking forward to the next episode. Now I am so disappointed to learn that there are only a couple more episodes to watch. Whoever manages programming at the WB needs to be fired.

Spoiler Alert!!!

I just finished watching the first season of Miami Vice on DVD so I was very excited to see Don Johnson on TV again. He was so good in the first episode of Just Legal. There is a great scene of him kicking some bad guy's butt. He has a great speech at the end, which almost made me cry. I thought it was a nice change from other lawyer shows. Again, I can't believe this show is canceled. What was the WB thinking?

Not that bad, the movie is full of laughs
15 August 2005
Warning: Spoilers
I am rating it a nine because it is really good for a Rob Schneider movie. I laughed throughout the whole movie. Deuce runs to Europe after creating a dolphin incident in the states. TJ incriminates himself in a string of male gigolo killings so Deuce takes up male whoring again to clear TJ's name. There is a lot of sexual humor and the movie deserves the R rating and it maybe should have been rated NC-17. This movie isn't as good as the first but it really isn't as bad as all the reviews say. I liked it because the movie made me laugh out loud. Everyone in the theater was laughing. Some of the humor is over the top and the constant names of different sexual positions is annoying since most people have no idea what they are and the viewers can only guess at their meanings. Norm McDonald is great in it with his bit part and of course Adam Sandler has a small cameo. I am a Rob Schneider fan and he is perfect in this movie.

Love's Enduring Promise (2004 TV Movie)

Great Romance!!!
6 July 2005
This is a great Hallmark movie sequel. You should watch Love Comes Softly before seeing this sequel but it isn't necessary. The movie is a great love story. The only reason I didn't give it a ten is because it isn't that original. It is a basic love story of a girl having to choose between two guys; one who is cute, rich, and maybe a little shallow, and the other who is cute, poor, but very deep. Hmm sounds familiar but it is still very good. All the actors are great. I rented it because I love Katherine Heigl's character in Love Comes Softly. I wish she would have had a bigger part in this story but the main focus is her adopted daughter. Overall, the movie is a nice break from violence laced movies.

How to Make a Monster (2001 TV Movie)
1/10
Terrible, How could Clea Duvall every agree to this?
6 July 2005
I am a huge fan of B movies but this was absolutely terrible. I only rented it because I think Clea Duvall is a great actress. I think the movie is trying to make a point but the only one I got was that you need to be utterly ruthless to make it in the gaming world!?! ***SPOILER ALERT*** Basic plot is three game programmers, a manager, and an intern are locked in an office building with some electronic suit that comes to life because of electricity. It proceeds to kill everyone but the intern who all of a sudden develops sword fighting skills and kills the monster. Clea Duvall is the intern who starts out as a nice girl with an abusive boyfriend. But for some odd reason she turns into a money hungry software company boss. I think there is a plot somewhere but I got distracted by a wrestler trying to act like a computer geek. Anyway, the movie is a complete waste of time and even Clea Duvall's great acting can't save the movie. Oh and someone needs to tell Julie Strain she doesn't look good topless anymore.

Bewitched (2005)
3/10
Would be terrible if it wasn't for Will Ferrell
6 July 2005
I had high hopes for this remake until I read that it wasn't an actual remake but more of a movie within a movie. The basic plot is Will Ferrell's character is starring in a remake of Bewitched and his costar just happens to be witch. The writer should have just stuck with one of the original Bewitched episodes because the idea did not pan out. The movie had some great moments but overall the storyline was terrible. Will Ferrell's character is very unlikable throughout the whole movie until the end and then all of a sudden he is nice. Nicole Kidman's character falls in love with the jerk just because she likes men that need help. Even though the plot is just silly, Will Ferrell is a great actor and he saves the movie. I think remaking the Bewitched was a great idea but this movie felt like it should have went straight to video.

My Little Eye (2002)
6/10
Not that bad!!!
6 July 2005
My Little Eye is not that bad. This is my first post to IMDb and I was shocked by how many reviews are for this movie. Obviously it is one of those movies that your either totally love or really hate. The basic plot is five strangers living in a house for six months for a website. If all of them stay for six months they win a million dollars. First off, six months seems like a really long time to have no contact with the outside world. The movie skips right over the six months and focuses on the last two days at the house. I think the story could of used a little more back plot to make the characters more interesting. I couldn't understand why anyone would want to watch these people on a website because they were very boring. But then the movie got very interesting with twists and turns in the last part of them movie. I was very disappointed with the ending. Without giving anything away, there were some questions that could have been answered. My Little Eye is a movie worth watching if you like thrillers that make you think. I didn't find it scary at all but it had suspenseful moments and a cool twist. I mainly rented it because Jennifer Skye is a great actress. But my point is, the movie isn't "the worst movie ever."
