Riding in Vans with Boys (2003 Video)

The best rock movie ever

I seen this I believe on MTV about a few years ago and I thought it was good so in the summer of 2004 I purchased this in the summer. Then I watched it and I was amazed how good it was. The movie is about a small band with the name of kut u up touring with Blink 182, Green day and Jimmy eat world. Just to let you know Kut u up is a small band used to playing in small dance clubs and stuff. So the band goes on tour and the movie just gets funny and funny. If you like to laugh I recommend this. Also If you like any of those bands than this is your movie. Its worth it and everything. This movie is filled with humorous things and has awesome performances from all the bands I mentioned. So go see this if you like to laugh or play a instrument or dreamed of rocking out.

King Kong (2005)

wow really good

This movie I could not wait to see. I was really excited to see this. It looked like it was going to be good and it was. If you have not seen this I would recommend this to anyone. I had the chance to see this movie with my family three days after this came out. The only complain is that this movie is very long. One of the longest movies I have ever watched.

But let me tell you it is worth it. All I recommend is not drinking to much before the movie or you will have to pee like I had to. This move has crazy special effects a hot chick and a big gorilla. The acting is good. it doesn't look fake everyone in this movie does such an excellent job that its believable. so whoever hasn't seen it I would especially in the big screen in a theatre near you.

Fight Night (I) (2004)

So today this movie was on t.v. and I decided to watch it. Its about two guys that own an underground fight club which they have a website and people can watch it on the internet and bet. The movie focuses on three underground fighters and how there lives are. One of the fighters is an 16 year old who is living with a couple of friends in some house they found and the only way he gets paid is if he wins, same goes with the rest. The movie tell there lives like one of the fighters is a DJ and the other works for some shoe company stocking shoes at a warehouse. this movies doesn't just show fighting(when they do show fights its sometimes really hard watching) but yeah this movies is interesting. It also tells about the two guys that own it. How they get most of the money and some goes to the fighter if they win. Which sounds like a scam to me. The movie is pretty sad especially when they get to the 16 year old fighter that is poor. all in all this movie was pretty good.

Prey for Rock & Roll (2003)

good movie

I just watched this movie this morning on t.v. at first the title seemed interesting so I thought I'll check it out. so I did at first I noticed there were three lesbians in the movie, I thought what the heck. I was about to change it but it got me interested. even though three of the band girls are lesbians its a movie most people I think should go see. its good and if you like music go see it I recommend this.

The movie is about a singer/ guitarist who wants to basically rock out at clubs. and she does so but she seems worried that she is to old to keep rocking. There is more to this movie than just rocking at a club. it deals with the girls family problems and stuff.

by the way I'm an 18 year old guy and I didn't think I would even like it.
