Retirement Rehearsal (2003)
Brilliant script with great directing

By pure chance in LA I happened to see the film, "Retirement Rehearsal".
I have to say that this is one of the best short films I have ever seen. The director, Anisha Pattanaik, brilliantly captured the main characters internal struggle with a forced retirement. My emotions kept running in different directions.
Thought provoking script intertwined with a comedic view of life after retirement. The film kept me intrigued throughout. It kept me laughing. Kept me wondering how the film would end.
I'm looking forward to seeing more films from this very creative director. I think she may be one to look out for in the near future.
