I'm not crazy about science based fact movies. Actually many of the facts I've read about in other reviews I didn't even notice.
Yes, some basic stuff that we common mortals could see were a little bit too much. And here is what happened: He lift 400 Kg rocket top (Yes that technical I am), eating just a third of the food portion initially initially as healthy, for I don't know how many months; and He also was as good in the head as everybody else after isolation far away from his planet with the potential risk of dying from anything. And this just made the whole thing BORING to watch very soon from the beginning. Why should he be saved if he was so OK? Can you just take off your helmet and die?
I didn't feel anything... No tension, no sympathy, no anticipation... He just went from situation to situation without breaking, without nothing... nada.
This also made the movie terribly paced, went it was supposed to be the peak of all trouble you were already tired of it and couldn't care less, cause he'd be fine anyway, with incredible ease... as every single time before.
All and all, I'm not disappointed. Because space movies are never scientifically accurate nor have well developed characters. They are about entertainment. This failed at this too.. but meh, it could have been worst.
