I Am Mother (2019)

I was doing some research about this and by the looks of it, a lot of the people that are leaving bad reviews didn't understand it.. at all which is a shame, and I feel sorry for the director and everyone else working on this for such a mediocre overall score! 6.8 is a travesty. Loads of effort was made with this film which is obvious, and it really shows. A lot of my favourite Sci-fi films influenced this one and I would definitely scrutinise it if it gave me the chance, but it never really did. There may have been a couple of times where I thought myself out of a situation a lot easier than Daughter which seemed a bit obvious, and a couple of small strange things happen but I'm not doing spoilers. Small things like that don't really bother me, but do bring a rating down. Also, amazing sets, design and effects!

It's not the best sci-fi ever, but it's certainly very high only my list!

Blade Runner 2049 (2017)

An absolutely mind blowing experience! (Don't be fooled by the trailers)

To say that I wasn't disappointed watching this film for the first time on the big screen would be a huge understatement.

The fact that it "didn't do so well" at the box office should give you a great idea of how this film steered away from the usual dribble that has been coming out these past couple of years to appeal to the masses and didn't pull a Ghost in the Shell.

The trailers gave so much of a wrong impression to how the film actually is, and honestly when I watched them I was severely disappointed and sceptical, boy I was wrong.

The film should be exactly what Blade Runner fans have been looking for all these years! I say should because you obviously can't please everyone, but nearly everyone ;)

Some people complained about 3 hours being too long, I would have sat through for twice that amount easily and loved every second.

An easy 10/10

Please don't listen to the bad reviews and watch this yourself.

I registered with IMDb just to write this. That is how much faith I have in this film. I really cannot believe some of these bad reviews.. "Not a kids film"?? kids would go mental for this.

Animation was nothing short of exquisite

Comedy was extremely funny (and i'm not one for comedies)

Story line was really great too

Also made me cry a little... meh

please please please watch how awesome this is. i'm nearly 28 and I absolutely loved it.
