1917 (2019)

Felt like you were along for the ride!

Riveting.

The "one shot" feel was awesome. Truly made me feel like I was right there for the journey (and a heroic journey it was).

Definitely different than any war movie I've ever seen, and had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish.

They could have drawn it out to make it a 3-hour long movie, but I'm so glad they didn't. The run-time was perfect.

All in all it was a solid 9+.

Glass (2019)

Was super excited for the movie leading up to the end.... but then...

Dexter (2006–2013)

Was one of the best shows, but only 2 seasons were actually good

I loved dexter and couldn't wait to watch it every week from season 1 through the end.

With that being said, season 1 and the Lithgow season (4 I believe) were really the only great seasons. The later seasons bothered me more than I enjoyed them.

Michael Hall was really the only character I enjoyed. His sister was just terrible, I hated LaGuerta... Angel & Quinn were okay I guess.

Problem was after season 4, Dexter became so sloppy and got away from his "code". He should have been caught over and over again...

Happy it's over!

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008)

Interesting Movie.....A bit too long

I tried going into the movie with an open mind, as I'm not a huge fan of most of Pitt's work.

The concept of the movie was definitely original and interesting. To see the reaction of people while interacting with Mr. Button was the most intriguing part for me.

One flaw that bothered me was the lack of age determination throughout the movie. It was simply too hard to judge at times how old he was, and distracting from the movie while trying to figure it out.

Another flaw was the length. Definitely a solid 1/2 hour too long.....at least.

Pitt was pretty good, and they did a good as him as an old man and changing his appearance throughout.

Worth seeing for sure.

Unan1mous (I) (2006– )

Great Concept.......8-12 million viewers

The show was not rigged as many would like to believe. It is AGAINST THE LAW to cheat a game show. I do not think FOX would break the law and fix a show.

The show should have been an hour long, but it didn't so i'm over it. They had 8-12 million viewers EVERY week. Sure any show after Idol will do pretty good, but this is the best ratings an after idol show has every received. So as much as some "hate" the show, they did something right. Some of you people can't handle reality, and to me this is reality at it's greatest. Sure there were some actors, but actors are real people.

It's a giant human experiment, putting people in a closed environment with no fresh air, no ability to tell day from night, no contact with the outside world. Some crack, some hold strong, some don't do much at all.

All in all, the concept was great, the show was good. I think Fox will attempt a seconds season, with it being a bit more planned out.

Dead End (I) (2003)

I don't get it

How is this movie rated so high? I must have said "man this is stupid" every 10 minutes. It wasn't scary, it was poorly acted, and it was just bad.

I was waiting for the end after about 1/2 hour. I was at a friend's house with some buddies, so I couldn't turn it off unfortunately. However by the end, everyone agreed we should have turned it off. I strongly suggest everybody pass on this one, unless you want to watch a bad movie. The ending was actually predictable, and I don't get how it surprised anybody. Man this movie was just AWFUL!

If you have seen this movie and really liked it, can you explain to me why and if you have an IQ above 20.
