Not as advertised
29 June 2019
I was expecting a show exploring the pros and cons of forensic criminal investigation and evidence gathering, what I got was a show about people whining about it. Very little science, frankly it was dumbed down to the lowest common denominator and simply boring.

couldn't wait for the closing credits
25 March 2019
The web defines this as a comedy drama romance, it is quite simply, none of the above. A sorry waste of the considerable acting chops of John Tuturro and a waste of two hours. Never was there a hint of comedy, the drama was the on screen neurosis of the characters and the romance was the total lack of chemistry between the leads. I would love to say this film had good intentions but it was clearly a two hour display of a dysfunctional cluster of family friends and ex-spouses. There was nothing uplifting, nothing worth taking home in fact nothing worth the time the audience invested.

Every cliché' possible
9 May 2016
Garry Marshall has hit on every Hollywood cliché' possible without generating a single laugh. He covered gay marriage, interracial relationships, younger bride/older husband, wacky parents, overweight all knowing black woman for comic relief, wiser than their years kids, kid with asthma, widower with coming of age daughters, etc. etc. in fact the only couple of the same race and approximate age group, what most would describe as mainstream, are the only divorced couple, and he does it all without a hint of originality or humor. This may be in the running for worst movie of the year, perhaps decade were it not for the Coen Brothers stink fest "Hail, Caesar"

Dreadful
27 December 2014
By far the worst, most convoluted Disney movie EVER and easily the most over rated, over anticipated, over hyped movie that fell so far short of it's promises from Disney EVER. This movie rambles on, and on and on without any sense of either direction or purpose and when the audiences feel there may be some relief in sight, back into the woods we go. The music is forgettable throughout and not single tune stays with you. Although it claims to be 124 minutes it feels much MUCH longer. THis is a dreadful, dreadful movie and whoever at Disney put their stamp of approval on the script, the director and the soundtrack should really be working somewhere else, perhaps driving a Disney resorts bus. I have ALWAYS been a fan of Disney and always respected their choices, not this time. THIS WAS HORRIBLE!!!!!
