Rick and Morty: Rick & Morty's Thanksploitation Spectacular (2021)
What episode 4 should've been
Great episode after 2 lackluster ones!
Jokes hit hard, the concept is classic Rick and Morty and the Rick-President dymamics is on point!
Solid 8/10.
Rick and Morty: Never Ricking Morty (2020)
People are really missing the point of the Episode
The whole point of the storylines is to show that this show will never be meta. We will not get a Game of Thrones Climax with Evil morty, nor a stra wars-esque fight between tammy and summer, this show will always be about Rick and Morty having Stupid adventures, with some Storylines sprinkled on top, this show is not canon, and this episode was a clear middle finger to whoever think it should be, this was one of my favorite episodes.
By the way, for the people who are giving this episode a 1 just because they didn't understand the part with the storylines- Are you kidding me?
Toy Story 4 (2019)
Just like life, sometimes when you think you got everything going perfectly, a new chapter to it might ptove out to be something you didn't want, but ultimatly need. Thank y
When this movie was announced a few years ago i was horrified, "surely the only reason to make a sequel to the best ending they could've possibly given to the franchise is driven by cashgrabbing", boy was i wrong!
From the beggining the movie feels different, but fresh, and i was completly hooked, there was not a dull moment, not a single scene which felt out of place, absolutly fantastic.
As for many further installments in franchises, at some points the franchise moves the camera a little bit further, and shows the audiance the outer world of their universe, this move is usually risky, because introducing new characters means less focus on the usual ones, and also sometimes leads to an "overdose of characters" when the movie has to many characters for it's own good, Toy Story 4 decides to move the camera on this one and does it FANTASTICALLY! Some of our usual characters are more dormant than usual but the new characters are SO great they easily fill the focus, Each character brings a touch of it own, from laughter, to Horror, the universe of Toy Story was never more spectacular.
Lore-wise this movie also nails it, from the main narrative which is kind of similar to previous Toy Story movies but still somehow manages to feel very fresh, To the Characters themselves, as their challanges through the tale tranverse into beautiful lessons, for them and for us as viewers, and let me say it, the Villain in this movie is absolutly the best villain in the franchise!
Overall this movie was one of the biggest surprises i've had recently, as i was absolutly sure the franchise is fine as the trilogy it was, but like the title states, sometimes when you think you've got something going perfectly, a new chaper to your story might prove out to be something you didn't want, but ultimatly need.
A huge part of me really wishes Pixar would end it here and put it on the shelf, but another part of me also knows that if they do decide to make a 5'th, they will probably surprise me again.
Game of Thrones: The Iron Throne (2019)
Could've been more "game of thrones'y", but still great
Do not listen to the reviewers that rates this episode 1/10 because that rating is unrealistic, and also don't trust the 10/10 because most of them are just mindless fans ranking every
episode a 10, instead listen to this
I understand why people are upset with this season, but this episode is great , it sums up most of the storylines, and gives each of the characters a fitting ending, the pontential to be a "crazy, mind blowing game of thronesique" episode is there, but things end more simply, i believe thats why people find it dissapointing, but if you manage to look over that and just accept the ending as it is, you will be pleased
