Happy Ending (2014)
7/10
All is well that ends well !
4 December 2014
Happy Ending is a fresh film. The film in set in the US where Saif plays his cool urbane character. The plot moves on fast and is somewhat boring in parts though. But the directors have presented the script well.

Saif Ali Khan does his job brilliantly . Illena D'Cruz, Ranvir Sheroy and Kalki have acted nicely. But the show stopper has to be definitely Govinda. He has just four scenes in the movie ,but he makes sure that all eyes are on him. He delivers his lines incredibly well.

Music is funky and the songs are decent.

To sum up, please watch the movie .

Kill Dil (2014)
4/10
It killed my Dil
3 December 2014
Kill Dil is straight out of the 80's. There is absolutely nothing new about the story. We have already seen countless movies based on the theme on which Kill Dill is set up.

Ranveer Singh is wasted so is Parineeti Chopra.Chopra has made a very bad choice this time. There was nothing to do for her. Ali Zaffar does his role honestly. Govinda is totally avoidable. He does not fit the role at all.

Shaad Ali is on a slippery slope since Saathiya. This movie does no better to take him up again. Music is below average except the title track.

Please avoid this movie. It turns out to be one of the duds of the year.

Ungli (2014)
4/10
Fails in the middle overs
29 November 2014
Ungli starts off really well. There is nothing new in the plot. The characters are quite fresh and look appropriate for there roles. The incidents happen quite quickly and you will the movie will be a racy thriller. Sadly, it starts to falter after first 20 minutes and then it just drags along. There is nothing in the movie which takes you by surprise and it becomes quite boring towards the end. Acting wise Randeep Hooda, Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi have done reasonably well. Emraan Hashmi and Kangana Ranaut are wasted. There was no need for Sanjay Dutt and anyone could have played that role. The songs are not needed and just bore you. Overall, Ungli turns out to be a carbonated drink which fizzes out as soon as you open the bottle !

Happy New Year (I) (2014)
3/10
Disappointing to the Core
17 November 2014
Frankly, I had no expectations from this movie. Considering the track record of Farah Khan movies , it is better not to keep any .Sometimes you might get surprised if the movie turns out good.

Well, this movie turns out to be damn squib. The plot hardly keeps you engaged. The antics of the cast just irritates you. Abhishek Bachchan is watchable though. Rest of them just bore you. A bad choice this one for Deepika Padukone.

The music is disappointing surprisingly from Vishal-Shekhar. The songs are below average.

Final verdict- Totally miss-able.Watch it only if you have lots of spare time.
