Ali isn't an actor, because he's not an actor

I enjoyed the movie quite a bit. I like seeing celebrities play themselves, it feels more relatable as a "person" instead of an entertainer/actor. I thought Mr. Ali did a fantastic job playing himself because really who else could have at the time. I don't understand the reviewers who keep saying Ali isn't an actor...because he's not! He was real I appreciated what he brought to to the film. Why would you want him to play a fake version of himself or be overly dramatic?! I also liked that I learned some new things about the champ and the clips of his real fights were nice instead of having re-enactments.

Thank you for a lovely movie.

Step Up: High Water (2018–2022)

It's nothing like the Step Up movies

While I really liked the 1st Step Up and bits and pieces of the other movies. This tv show Step Up just isn't it. The acting isn't very good, it's cringy and over the top. It reminds me of the after school specials or the "educational" tapes we watched in the 80s. I don't understand why this style of acting is so popular these days. It comes off as fake with no real emotion behind the characters. Speaking of characters, they ALL look way too old to play high school kids. The dancing is ok but too fast and also feels emotionless. Maybe it'll get better over time. Watching season 2 now with my fingers crossed.
