Madam Secretary (2014–2019)

Madam carries it

If it wasn't for Madam I wouldn't be bothered. I tried the second time now to watch the first season trying very hard not to be put off by - especially- her Kids, the husband (not always) and the awful idiot of a scriptwriter and his girlfriend the press staffer. Most of her staff are almost as annoying but her acting and quite good stories keep me hanging in there. To avoid getting too annoyied by daughters/son and their useless stories I just don't watch scenes they're in. Going into the second season now hoping not to be too much distracted by the spoiled brats and the not too believable Professor husband.

Billions (2016–2023)

Downhill fast

Just like Designated survivor, good life and others watching the first seasons is great and one hopes for the level to continue but then Taylor gets on the nerves, the stories get more and more unreal and holding on until seasonn 5 the college scene was plain stupid, sons turning up even more, Taylor and his her gang is trampling on ones nerves, chucks dad turns into an even bigger idiot with the your sister your aunt Wendy pisses me off with half baked shrinkspeak and.axe can't be taken seriously anymore. From season 4 on a waste of time.

I was looking forward to Season 4 even though not being to excited about the ones before with the cartoons and the trump bashing. I had to force myself through to episode 5 or 6 and I must admit that I haven't seen anything as stupid during the last few weeks.

It took a few episodes to find out who is who and connected to what but despite the dark scenes I found my way around and season two got really interesting. The ending was a bit stupid because with all the threatening Jim and his partners in crime walked about as if nothing would harm them and any normal person in that situation would check buildings close for spying eyes and naturally would have a good few bodyguards checking the surroundings before stepping out on the street to get a better signal on the mobile. That ending was not believable.

Having recorded the original series and watched them from the beginning again, I was interested in the "remake" but gave up after 10 minutes. It's absolute rubbish.

It's one you download and look forward to but what a waste of time. After the first episode I kept hoping that the next would make sense but it got worse.

Designated Survivor (2016–2019)

Still a 10

So looking forward to season three, disappointed but still watching because there's not much more on TV these days. The writers jump on every actual happening problem like transgender, illegal immigrant child (costing millions, unrealistic), Latino Vice President coming out smuggling an illegal child across the border, big deal about pharmaceutical mafia, turning a Russian jet around by hacking and communicating with some military somebody instead of the president....,I could go on but what most hit me was the killing off of Hannah; I was looking forward to see her at all times; a great character but killed off, being replaced by "liberal agenda rubbish". I will watch the series until the end but just because I wanted a change from A. Christie and Sherlock Holmes reruns. Before I forget: dear writers, too late now but I love K. Sutherland and you made him a limp character. Then again, that's probably real in reality.

Chesapeake Shores (2016–2022)

Put off

I started watching but soon got disappointed when the Retriever was changed to an Alsatian without it being mentioned. Like all American movies, Houses are bigger than normal, the rooms go on for miles, the cars are massive and it's not normal. Stopped watching finding out that it was filmed in Canada. Thanks very much, I wanted to see beautiful Chesapeake.

With these files declassified one can only guess what other historical documents will never be known to the public. This series is educational and quite well done. Found it on YouTube by searching for spy movies. Enjoyable.
