The movie started with Liam Neeson portraying a street detective with long hair. From there I thought the movie could only get better however, I must say TAKEN will be what he stays known for.

Though the film had a very promising storyline from start, areas where you would have thought it could climax and reach its potential it failed. This will make a good rental for later , I would not pay a prime movie ticket price for this performance.

Liam Neeson will not be the next tom cruise or Clint Eastwood but his natural nick for detective roles show and he plays the part well. With more finances this movie could have been a lot better, but even still I recommend it for true Liam Neeson fans.

No Good Deed (I) (2014)

No Good Deed starts a little sketchy. Not fully giving a back ground on its main character, but enough to keep you interested in the events about to unfold. Overall good movie, not a significant climax, however a twist at the end of the movie leaves you feeling like you got your money's worth. Not a plethora of well known actors but with the limited cast this movie does not disappoint, if your expectations aren't sky high. Starts of when a husband takes a weekend trip for his fathers birthday so he claims and during that time an escaped convict finds refuge in his wife's home. Originally the wife feels she is doing a service and being helpful but after he terrorizes the house she quickly regrets in, until the twist at the end that's brings all characters back together.

Freezer (2014)

First Canadian film, not bad. Great for a similar movie that you'd see on ordinary television. Rented at red box and was worth the dollar. No real climax, but throughout the movie a good flow of entertainment. Good spin at the end, worth 91 min. The movie starts and finishes in a freezer so the name actually ties in well ( I have seen titles that don't) throughout the movie I encourage to watch for the good guys and bad ones for an easy game to stay active. The characters that play Russian actually speak Russian so subtitles definitely came in handy. There were only 4 main people in the movie so fairly easy to follow characters and associated attributes.
