Merry Christmas (2024)

Zero Chemistry !!!

Disappointed with this lazy effort by this renowned film maker. Had great expectations as his last fare 'Andhadhun' was superb. Entertaining and well directed.

Katrina Kaif proves it in this film that no matter with whom you pair her she cannot act to save her life. Vijay Sethupati another great star from the south was very bad too. He was so good in Super Deluxe. Why did he agree to do this stupid film ?

Regards the plot, the less said the better. The shot taking was horrendous. The camera was so static and these 2 characters just doing time pass in the foreground of the sofa was abysmal.

And the worst part according to me was the ZERO CHEMISTRY between the pair.

Please give it a miss !

So slow paced and boring...Looks like a 90 minute commercial for THAR jeeps. Fractured plot line, bad narrative and even worse acting by everyone. Dismal show ! Better skip it.

Heropanti 2 (2022)

Bollywood makers again taking the audience for a royal ride and a maha boring one. Inane storyline ,Tiger Shroff sleepwalks throughout the film. His action scenes look so repetitive , the same flying through air, jump kicks and body flips. It might as well be from Baaghi 3 or any of his previous films. Nawaz gets some fun to his character and plays it well. The music is okay. If this is the way they continue Bollywood days are numbered.

Attack (2022)

Venom meets White House Down

The storyline is a mash of Hollywood Hits(Venom and White House Down). A Soldier who single handedly saves the day by his heroics (assisted by IRA : A computer chip placed inside him making him a super human soldier) . The Action scenes and Climax are done well and John Abraham makes it all look good. The first half drags a bit as the setup takes long but the Interval point sets it for a fast paced 2nd half. For action lovers and John Abraham fans a good watch.

Deep Water (I) (2022)

Drink, Dance, Casual Sex, Voyeurism .. Repeat !

Adrian Lynne ! What was that ? The entire film just has the heroine and other people drinking, partying, having casual sex and Ben Affleck watching like a Nut case.

Seriously this is the content of the film. What a waste of talent and time. Please skip it.

Jalsa (2022)

WHY is the film titled Jalsa ?

It is the most misleading title I have come across. Jalsa means Celebration. The entire film is a slow tear jerker about moral dilemmas.//Good performances by the actors but not a thriller from any angle.

Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022)

SLB is India's Best director !

Very well made film on all fronts, no flaws in any department. SLB is truly a master craftsman. His vison and execution is impeccable. He makes even the filthiest settings look grand. Hats off !

Bellbottom (2021)

Bottom of the Lot !

Clearly inspired by the film Argo, this movie is a disaster compared to it. There is just so much talking and no action in the film. The sequences shot in London look like they went to some cheap suburban ghetto and shot it there. All the time long speeches about patriotism and saving India s honor etc...The actual action is also poorly planned and directed. Akshay Kumar has the luck of the devil that he gets away with all the bull all the time !

Silence: Can You Hear It (2021)

Sherlock will be shocked !

Really surprised how such a bad film has a rating of 6.7 on IMDB. Slow paced, repetitive and ludicrous plot. The climax is unbelievable. Even a great actor like Manoj cannot save the film and tries poorly to make everything look plausible. For a murder mystery there is zero tension throughout the film, the characters are plastic and very cliched dialogues. The way the Inspector solves the entire mystery in a split second by a trivial clue would put Sherlock to shame.
