What a shame

So sad the this is one of worst films to come out from Blumhouse ! When you see Blumhouse you pretty much know you're in for a good watch ( minus a few ) , but this is shockingly bad! The age rating has made it for a larger market, I get that, but having made it an 18 would of meant a much , much better film would of happened. It's a shame as this could of been up there with the greats but sadly I think some of the Disney films are scarier. As often with films adapted from games and or books this failed badly. Taking a game that everyone who's anyone raved about this game, my children included I thought we'd have one scary evening but the game is so, so, so much scarier. What a shame.

Joe vs. Carole (2022)

It was fun

Yes this is a strange series to make so soon after documentary but if you just watch it as a bit of fun then you'll enjoy it. Yes CGI wasn't the best but hey just have a giggle and move past it. Just have fun with it and watch the documentary if want a more serious side. As for actors I think both were great both had obviously studied them. I don't understand those saying that John Cameron Mitchell wasn't up to par. When first saw snippet of trailer I thought it was him. He had everything about Joe right voice, walk, mannerisms everything. Carols actress also had all of her mannerisms and walk etc.

People will love it, hate it or don't really care either way but at the end of the day it really is just fun and I for one enjoyed it regardless of what was and wasn't in it.

Awesome watch it with an open mind

I write very very very few reviews. I didn't realise this director was new and only his first proper film aside 2 short films. When I found out I felt amazed as defiantly thought it was from someone more seasoned. There are a lot of low reviews out there and they're not really deserved. I know we all have different opinions and we all expect something different and something new. If you say I low review for a film, then maybe give it I go as you may find send to treasures and others that could probably deserve the score and maybe lower. I always try to watch Numbered reviews as I have I go in what is an already low Number and from there it will either stay low or I'll be really surprised and enjoy it. Just give these new peeps ago. Everyone started from where and I'm sure that people gave I am low reviews but it was the one that give them a chance I've got them are where they are today. All I can say again is just go and you may be surprised. Open minds are really useful in film reviews and not to just follow the crowd.

Ragnarok (2020–2023)

Don't look for true interpretation but enjoy it doe what it is and the telling of Norse mythology

This I binge watched after putting on as a trial. I read reviews at episode 4 out of curiosity. Ofcourse many loved it and some hated it. Isnt that true of everything? I enjoyed this alot. The underlying Norse mythology was great and if was taught like this many would pass lol. But when watching it just watch it for fun as you would Sabrina or Riverdale, this isnt a history documentary.

Open Grave (2013)

Went in knowing nothing about movie

I watched this little gem of a movie just by chance as have watched so many films now running low. I dont usually watch low scored films but glad I did and the rating is defiantly not deserved. It's well written, well produced and well acted by all. This really should of gone to cinemas as I've watched far worse 'big' releases. Has you questioning things and I think could watch a couple of times to pick out all the clues. Defiantly glad I found this much more than average film.
