Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018)
Beware of the Hardcore Star Wars fan bad reviews
I had pretty low expectations going into this due to a lot of bad reviews. I honestly have no idea where the hate is coming from, one person even made fun of L3, the feminist, rebel Robot, who is a histerical character.
You shouldn't believe these bad reviews. This movie was a great story, with laughs, action, heart, and a hell of a ride.
They nailed Han's backstory, and it was worth telling.
This is my favorite since seeing the originals when I was a kid.
Go see it and see for yourself, don't let these bad reviews keep you away.
Lethal Weapon: One Day More (2018)
Great Series Finale
I can't really put into exact words how I completely feel about this episode, and this show. I guess I'm mad. Mad that I spent 40 episodes, hoping that this character that I love is going to get better, get sober, be happy. Then when he finally becomes happy, and ready to move on and is the best version of himself since his wife's death, he gets killed. I understand that the charter had to end since Clayne was let go from the show, but to do it like that felt dirty and wrong. But there you go, there is my conflict. It was a good ending, and good show, because it drew so much emotion out of me, got me so attached that when I watched him get shot, I felt so hurt. I felt the pain. Which is what shows pray to achieve, that attachment. Unlucky for Fox, Clayne was the reason I watched the show, I just loved him. Season 2 will be my final season watching the show, which is a bummer because I like Sean William Scott, but he isn't Riggs. Bravo to Fox for putting on 2 seasons of a wonderful show... you had the chemistry and cast for a 10+ season series, but I just don't see it lasting even half way through the 3rd. Thanks for the memories Riggs, you saved my life too.
Lethal Weapon: Jesse's Girl (2018)
I've stopped being surprised
When Lethal Weapon first started, I will admit I laughed at the concept. The first episode had me hooked and wanting more. 2 seasons later and I can honestly say this is my favorite show on TV. It has everything you want in good TV, as perfectly shown in Jesse's Girl. You are laughing, shaking your head at how goofy it is, and then wiping a tear away after feeling so deeply for the characters. I'm just happy knowing that next week I get to see Riggs and Murtaugh back together.
