The Retirement Plan (2023)
Food movie, fresh story. But...
Why do they feel necessary that they are Democrats? This is a freaking action movie, no one came for the politics!
Through the dialogues, a couple of times - absolutely unnecessary, someone would say a bad thing about Republicans.
Too bad, because the movie is almost watchable. The story isn't very intelligent but we be seen worse.
This is one of the good Nicolas Cage movies, made with some good mood, relatively fun. The action scenes are almost pathetic but that is the level at Hollywood nowadays. Lazy, mediocre.
The cast is so-so. Ron Perlman makes a great role, everyone else - including Cage is just second or third league.
Hijack (2023)
Political correctness is killing art
White males exist in this show only to be evil and to do stupid things.
They are the terrorists, of course. They are the passengers, making stupid decisions.
A white male is the air traffic controller who missed all the red flags.
We should be used to it but this show puts the nonsense to another level.
If you can ignore that, it's a good show.
I never considered Idris Elba a good actor and the entire hype around him always smelled bad. Like Obama's Nobel prize.
He is not organic, he makes a honest effort every millisecond, to be natural but it never works.
This minimum characters requirement is very stupid. Not every movie deserves that much talking.
The Greatest Lie Ever Sold: George Floyd and the Rise of BLM (2022)
Why do people avoid knowing?
Why are we, as a society, actively closing our eyes, to un-see facts like these exposed in this documentary?
Having said that, I admire the efforts and the professionalism of the creators, to do honest reporting. It's just what happened. Why other media and journalists aren't investigating it, is incomprehensible.
It is easy to understand why a modern, prosperous society would bite to the Marxist messaging. Both founders of BLM are "trained Marxists".
Their corruption only matches what communist leaders did, while talking about "equality". Do you think communists warned people about labor camps, repression and censorship?
Deep Water (2022)
The ugly victory of insane family laws.
A woman who knows she can do whatever she wants, humiliate her husband with every male she encounters. And the worst that could happen to her is to divorce him, take the house, the kid, and at least half of his money.
The inability of today's men to say "enough" it's not by choice. It is not a sign of weakness. It is intended.
I See You (2019)
Good movie, as always, white men are bad
Hollywood cannot control its hate against men. Woman, even when guilty, is innocent, and man, especially white, is always the evil.
The Lie (2018)
All white characters are evil, or just stupid
The story is great, Mireille Enos, Joey King and Peter Sarsgaard are acting beautifully.
But the makers decided to place a cheap politically correct message: whites are evil, people of color are their victims. That ruined the movie.
Hart of Dixie (2011)
A sweet, beautiful tale about small town, friendship, tolerance, forgiveness.
It's a world without hate, revenge, diseases, bills are always paid and problems are easy to solve.
Beautiful characters, memorable, diverse, lovable.
Mayor Lavon Hayes, Lemon, the doctor, Wade Kinsale, A. B... And above all, like a petite queen, the charming, bug eyed, so unique Dr. Zoey Hart.
The story sometimes spends too much time following the ever different couples, the copulation becomes an obsession for a moment, but the 4 th season fixes everything.
I wish there was more musical moments, because every song in this show is a gem. The final one melts the heart and says a smiley good bye that makes us cry.
The Aeronauts (2019)
Erasing a scientist, making up a female super hero.
How much more PC we cam swallow? How much lower feminists can go? Rewriting history, replacing a male scientist with a fictional female character... This should be a scandal.
Brittany Runs a Marathon (2019)
They don't make movies like this anymore
The story of one of the secondary characters made me cry. She got her kids taken from her, because she got hurt, got drugs prescribed, and her husband decided she's on drugs. And boom! The family Court took her kids, without her doing anything wrong. No visitations allowed.
Usually the man gets kicked out of their kids lives, as statistics show, but this barbarism happens to women too. I can't understand why we, as a society still accept this.
The movie is great. A simple and touching story, authentic and powerful.
