I was actually very surprised by this movie and how good it was from start to finish. The time flew by and the actors all did a great job. I won't give any spoilers away and don't want to be so vague but it's basically a movie about a group of friends that are on a weekend to try and help their buddy deal with feelings that have been suppressed. There are some very funny moments and the actors do a great job with what they were given to make you feel as though you are there with them. The way they all interact was quite well done and you get a real sense that these people actually care deeply about one another. It's a comedy with a serious topic and they do an excellent job. I highly recommend this indie type movie that deals with sadness with a bit of partying and friends with a good sense of humor.
I really liked this film. It made me feel good. I loved the beautiful countryside camera shots. Those alone are worthy of National Geographic. The parts between conversations had a calming effect on me along with the soundtrack. I thought Martin Sheen did very well as did the other actors. They all worked so well together and by the end of the movie you could see they spent a lot of time together on the set and honestly got along or so it seemed and thats what made the movie impressive. Wonderful movie to watch with an uplifting vibe and quirky characters with a real bond make this a definite must see. I can actually see myself watching this for a second time and that's rare in films for me. Enjoy !
There's a scene in this movie that sticks with me still almost 6 months after watching it and it's the obvious one to everyone I'm sure. Great simple idea that I cannot say I've seen ever in a horror movie. Well enough acted. The ending was OK but the beginning and middle are well worth the just OK finish. I'd love to see a sequel with some kind of conclusion to the problem at hand. Like I said the one part that eerily sticks in my mind goes so well with the music they use that I think it should be in the top 100 creepy movie scenes of all time. I really hope they do a sequel and this movie could have more depth to it in the future but I think the way it was written was not boring and to the point and thats really all people need sometimes.
