Disjointed writing just isn't good

While the story was a good idea, the script and editing were not. The actress (Mayes) who played Donna wasn't good. The twins and Espinoza (Caroline) were the best part of this movie. I don' agree with the Best Actor award being given to the lead. It's an obscure award and I get the feeling it was purchased as this movie wasn't good enough for any award. I wonder at the viewers's rating of 6.5. That too is unrealistic. A big fail is the scene where oddly, the lead character who is taken home is apparently awake in the car then suddenly he is found on the ground unconscious- is he home? How did he end up laying on a nondescript slab of concrete?

As real people who watch this movie and continue to give it very low ratings as it is no comedy , no farce and not clear in its goal, I hope that the rating continues to fall so that more people are not fooled by the advertising or the BAFTA nominations and spend their money to be so disappointed and disgusted. I am grateful to so many real viewers who seem to agree that the film is not worth watching, should not be sold as a comedy drama and who can't figure out why the cruelty and insanity take place. More confusing are the high ratings but maybe that was required if the entire crew - to write high-rated reviews- in order to get paid ? I wanted to like this movie but won't go see it after reading dozens of RECENT reviews mostly rating it about an average o 2-3 - not the high 7 it currently claims.

Bublé singing was great but the others were too diverse (Kermit, multi- ethnic kids) and even Leon Bridges showed himself unable to sing well or be a presence onstage. Bublé needs to focus on the music and traditional happy ( not attempted-funny) skits. I wouldn't bother watching this again.apparently I need to double the length of this review. Ok. I thought Cabello and Hannah sang beautifully. The British Boys Choir and the orchestras were beautiful as was the show closer. Aaaaaaaaa aaa aaa aa. Aaa aaaa aaaa. Aaaa. A aaaaaa aaaa aaaaa a. Sweet Carolina (2021 TV Movie)

That toupee is so horrible ...

I have no idea if the actor can act or if the movie is any good. If that's a toupee, toss it and fire the hair stylist. If it isn't, shave his head and fire the stylist. Either way the movie might have a chance without constant reminder that this is an actor. No one would have hair like that .

Another effort to change history

Serena Williams and the truth don't live in the sane world. The professional reviewers said it: with Richard's daughter producing, the truth is not what is shown and no Hollywood producer was interested in just the tennis player(s). It the colorful Hollywood community will all vote to glorify another movie that changes the truth - because the uneducated, indoctrinated believe movies are true and history lies.

I can't believe the higher ratings. The dialog was cringeworthy in parts. The plot was non-existent. It was a predictable and as unbelievable as the old Judy Garland /Mickey Rooney "let's put on a show" movies. Spoiler** When the H can't figure out why the h get mad, his female family members tell him he screwed up and should apologize and he gets a huge grin and says 'yes' and 'I'll tell her I like her!"' Really. A cute movie for 11 year old girls. Oh, and the movie is set in Salt Lake City ( hint) and lectures throughout on putting family above everything including earning a living. Oh well. Most Hallmark movies are way better than this one.

I did want to like this movie with Parker Stevenson and Pamela Sue Martin. But either the actors can't act or they can't act and say the wretched dialog at the same time the Queen was in no way believable. Stevenson's dialog was terrible. Pamela Sue Martin did the best. She made you feel like she was the mother. All the other characters/actors and their dialog were just not believable. The movie screamed 'actors-in-training, newbie writer', and director? Just bad. Sorry.

I am watching this movie and am approaching the middle it. One of the worst written movies ever. The ridiculous Indian designer totally destroys any possibility of this movie being worth the waste of my time. The idiotic brides's father is nearly as bad. A diner 'cook' and a 'chef' are 2 different things!! Beyond all this, Indians and Americans alike should be highly insulted by these 2 characters. The only reason I'm watching is because of the beautiful Romania architecture and winter scenery.
