Mean Girls (2024)

Terrible Copy of Original

This is a close replica of the original with musical numbers. I didn't love the singing, it was weird and did not add intrigue to the movie.

Some of the actors were good, but some were definitely not as good as the originals. Several were trying to act like the originals, but simply didn't cut it. I think having it be so close to the original forced viewers to compare and this simply wasn't as good. The part that was good is when Lyndsay Lohan made a guest appearance. There were a couple of amusing quips.

I had hoped for a different twist on the original. This wasn't it. I don't recommend this movie.

Mr. D (2012–2018)

Hilarious

This show is hilarious. Definitely a laugh out loud show. I'm a teacher, so maybe that's why I love it and really get the humour.

Need for Speed (2014)

Loved this Movie

I was pleasantly surprised when I watched this movie. I remember feeling disappointed with other racing films that portrayed an interesting enough story line, but terrible acting. I was quite impressed with the acting in this film. Aaron Paul in particular (from Breaking Bad) was amazing. He is so good at portraying emotion. I could completely empathize with how he was feeling throughout this movie. I enjoyed his acting so much that I downloaded all the rest of his movies. I can't wait to check them out.

I quite enjoyed Imogen Poots in this movie as well. I like that her and Aaron Paul have acted in a couple of movies together recently (A Long Way Down). They have good chemistry.
