Ash and Bone (2022)
Proof is in the pudding!
Looking at the big split in "audience reviews" it's clear that there are some with an axe to grind and they're trying to sabotage and that's disturbing and appalling for sure. For an independent film to break through to the mainstream without placement the way this film has done is almost unheard of..
So if you're still on the fence about this movie let me try and help.
Festival awards and nominations across the globe in festivals that's been around 10, 20 years and more.
Over 30 critics are saying great things about the film and rating it between good and great.
It has literally trended almost non-stop since it's release on multiple platforms with huge subscriber bases and still is 3 1/2 months later..
So I guess you can listen to the haters or check it out for yourself..
Agramon's Gate (2019)
Proof is in the pudding
10 Awards
30 Nominations
Critic consensus strong acting, story, cinematography and story telling.
How are some people spewing hate still?!??
And a bigger much more relevant question is who are these people who feel entitled to rip a project that takes hundreds of people to make over years of time?!? If you can answer that you may be able to fix Todays society.
Abstruse (2019)
Impressed!
Sizemore is great, Haskins is a better actor than I ever knew but there are some unknowns that are pretty awesome! I can see why it's won a ton of awards! Oh and notably strong score!
Enigma (2019)
Next generation cult film!?!
Fun ride, interesting characters and premise! I see a bit of a 90's cult film.. definitely an independent film but worth the ride.
Love Immortal (2019)
Dark beauty
I was really excited to see Robert Butler make his first feature and I've seen all his short films!
Beauty in the screens, excellent eye for talent and truthful performances and captivating storytelling!
Don't miss this one!!
Bennett's Song (2018)
Refreshing Feed Good Mocie
A not so ordinary family film, tackling acceptance, diversity, a love story, being deaf and it's challenges not to mention music and dance! Oh and having genuine challenges of overcoming..
I see some of the other reviews and wonder how on earth they missed it but then again some people have an agenda...
What I really love is it's ability to do so and still touch such a wide audience. I saw it in theaters and saw men cry and people hug and parking lot conversations about life after.
If you like a little romance, a bit of comedy and some drama set in a big family setting, you'll likely like the movie!
Betrayed (2018)
Killer Thriller!
It's always fun to read the really negative reviews and then to click on the review were and follow them back only to find out that either a) they have really only done this to one movie (Clearly a hater) or every movie they've ever rated is the worst movie ever no matter what (and is just a miserable troll)
This movie has crushed a very short film festival run With almost a clean sweep, it's clearly NOT a bad movie.
Watch the trailer, if you dig the trailer you'll likely dig the movie!
Moving Parts (2017)
Interesting!!
As I see the wide spread between the lovers and the haters it's pretty clear that there were a bunch of people giving the movie potentially a little higher score than they truly felt it deserved.
It's also clear that some people are just flat out disrespectful and rude and voted the film down..
Let's be reasonable... This film won a few awards one of them a biggie and made quite a few festivals so it clearly isn't junk and yes it's a low budget indie so production value is going to take a hit and yes, with a limited budget you'll end up with what some may consider a few somewhat hokey performances but this is a great story, it's well acted and nicely lit and captured..
Common decency, courtesy and sense are unfortunately getting less and less common..
Wild Faith (2018)
Great Story!
A very well acted, well assembled film with a strong story line!
I heard people talking about this film but it wasn't showing in theaters by me so I jumped in the car and drove almost 2 hours to see it. Let me tell you, it was worth the trip!
Acting was on point, story was gripping and the score was compelling!
If this shows anywhere near you, I'd suggest catching in in theaters!
On the Ground (2013)
Great experience and TEAM!
I truly enjoyed working on this Short film/Music video! Let's start with M.D. White: great d Director! From the big picture vision to the details he was on it and I really am a fan of his story telling ability and that's why his writing is so strong! Kurt Mackey is creative and energetic and I really dig his style of filming (you can get a taste of both either in his Doritos Super Bowl commercial or even his filming in "the Big Play". Nick White worked in filming as well as video editing and managed to tell the story quite well. Terry was there all along filming the behind the scenes and just bring a cool dude! As far as the cast.. Mine J RiteWay, you're talented, very talented and I hope you get your big break with this! Also my man Brendan Seguin is a beast and I could watch you fight all day brother and you can act!! Sweet cameos by Jigsaw, James Dillinger, Pete Trevino, Gordon She'll and reality star Seaira (hope I spelled it right) as our ring girl.. Of course Paul Candela and the rest of the cats were all great and I can't wait to work with you all again! Thanks for making a music video into a short film and telling a story!!
Xtreme Cagefighting Championship (2008)
Awesome production!
I was actually the host & commentator for this series and I had a blast with Kara & Steve on the mic as well as Sam & Mike behind the scenes! I still feel the quality of the production was excellent yet today when I see shows other than the UFC it holds up! I really liked the "behind the scenes" parts where we got a chance to show the fighters train and interview.. It's also to be noted that this was Amateur MMA in 2008-2009.. .. Beatdown at the Ballroom, Battle on the Border were both great.. Especially the Canada vs USA events! I wish I would get my hands on the unaired episodes from the Motorcity Casino It was an amazing night of fights! Please add a credit for me per episode! :) I would love copies as well since I didn't get all episodes.. Thanks Harley Wallen
Solstollarna (1985)
So much fun!
I was on season two as an actor and dancer and it was so much fun to be apart of this!! Per och Ola are both incredibly funny on & off camera! I was also surprised that the guest stars were really fun and laid back.. It made me not feel start struck at all working with my first celebrities as they were all great!!! I also must say I enjoyed the whole cast and Ulla-Bella Sekreterare is my absolute favorite, I impersonate still to this day! I am so excited to find this here.. If Ola is on here I'd like to say thanks for the opportunity that started me off! Please add my credits for season 2. Thank you, Harley Wallen aka Mikael Wallen
