Shameless: The Hobo Games (2019)
Don't make it a Dexter sized screwup
Although the acting was extraordinary in the episode i couldn't believe what was happening. It was a total screw up against Fiona. She deserves better. Much much better. It's depressing that the siblings couldn't care less about Fiona. If she's leaving the show, this isn't how you should kick her out. Make it believable at least.
Lost (2004)
The most exhilarating TV series I've ever seen.
Before writing the review I have to say one thing. This is my favorite TV series till date. This show promises a complex, captivating and thrilling emotional experience to the viewer and provides something much higher than that. J J Abrams put his best in writing for this show. The story captures multiple areas of science and supernatural elements and gets complex as the story moves forward, but never the other way.
The screenplay is a typical two time line plot which alternates every few minutes and the one time line shows the background story of each and every character of the story. The writer links the current time line to the past events of the character and creates a complex characterization for each and every person making us feel different emotions. Every character has a different and interesting story. The way the writer linked the stories and the current plot is simply clever. A viewer will feel joy, irritation, love and hatred towards every character at one moment or the other.
The story starts with a simple adventure story where people get lost and try to find a way back home. But in the second season, it turns towards supernatural (not horror), and later on J J Abrams adds concepts like science, religion, time travel, alternate universe, heaven, supernatural powers, telepathic powers etc. After some time it seems like there is no end to the imagination of J J Abrams and combining all these concepts is just brilliant.
So, if you are the kind of person who likes elements which are unknown and mysterious or if you like science fiction with super natural elements, then lost is a perfect show for you.
