Toastmaster (2014)

A toast to Indie cinema!
5 October 2013
"This year I had the privilege to enjoy a rough cut of Eric Boadella's film 'Toastmaster'. The film narrates in a warm-hearted and pleasant way the story of Uncle Kapriel's obsession to pass on his family tradition. This opera prima of the Spanish director counts with a great cast, three incredible actors that approach the American Armenian community of Los Angeles to the audience, while unfolding a tender story that talks about family values. Independent Cinema with a low budget that demonstrates creating good cinema is a matter of a great story that reaches the audience's hearts trough fresh and natural performances. It is a film that I can compare to the films showcased in big festivals like Sundance. Eric Boadella confirms his value in his first film that I am sure that will open doors to continue directing cinema, new films that we are anxiously waiting in our showcase of cinema BRAM!"
