The Flash: O Come, All Ye Thankful (2018)
Just terrible
Nora is winning in the race to the most annoying character.
She has never met her father before going back in time, why is she overly attached to Barry now? It's so unnatural. What else unnatural? Nora and Iris just made up in the last episode and now they are BFFs? And then she turns around once again and blaming her parents for Barry's disappearance. In an early scene when Barry is about to remove the core she said "something doesn't feel right" out of nowhere, just to give her a reason to blame their decision later.
Cicada's backstory is not much better. His daughter Grace is just like 8 years old but she said some overly mature lines. While that is still acceptable, the motive for Cicada to attack team Flash is just ridiculous. Everyone with a brain knows that the Flash is helping catching the metas, and he wants him dead just because he's the meta too? Even the doctor, who is supposed to be calm and objective, assists him in his killing spree.
Well done, writers. You've created a magnificent mess.
Supernatural: The Devil in the Details (2016)
Amazing episode of a great season so far
First of all, I can't believe we can have such awesome plot in the eleventh season of a show! Great job, writers and directors.
This episode has everything a SPN fan would expect: Solid plot development; humor factors even from the darkest time, social media referrals, hot chick, hot-nerdy chick, and most of all, the awesome acting, especially from Misha. I really look forward to seeing his performance in the future. Though it still seems a little pushed in the conversation between Sam and Lucifer, everyone was so convincing with their roles.
There will be major changes in the following episodes and I think they're much needed to breathe new life into the show.
All in all, this is a 10-star quality episode no doubt, worths every minute of waiting from the mid-season break.
There is just 1 thing bugs me.I just hope the cast will stay the same because they're like family to us.
Supernatural: Brother's Keeper (2015)
Epic finale and awesome setup for the next season
The Demon Dean plot is getting quite old and boring with the brother issue going on and on, so I was desperately hoping for a change. Fortunately, the season 10 finale not only solve the Mark of Cain problem but also set things up for a new powerful enemy. I miss the days when Sam and Dean were up against life-threatening forces, the Winchesters had to dig up lore, find artifact (they still do in this season - technically) and compromise with cross-road demons... and I cannot be happier that season 11 will probably bring those things back again.
However there still something I don't like in this season finale. Death died (did he, or could he?) too easily and Sam and Dean is the very reason for the release of this powerful new enemy, not to mention that Sam gave the most powerful spell book on a witch's hands and now she can do anything. I think the writer should stop creating more poor decisions for the Winchesters for a while.
All in all, this is an excellent episode and I'm hyped for the next season!
