Those Who Wish Me Dead (2021)

What a terribly weak plot

Very shallow characters, with an even weaker plot filled with holes. Nothing much from the movie makes sense, nor explained. It just was a terrible screenplay. The first 10min was promising. Just so disappointing with a known cast.

To list a few points I can't get over: Whos at the top who wants the kid dead?

The behaviour of people in that situation.

To kill a kid who seen their faces, then proceed to show their face to even more ppl.

How fire can behave so conveniently for the story.

At the end, wouldn't the mastermind still want the kid dead?

No real explanation for the entire plot.

Wish I could get back 2hrs of my life.

Obliterated (2023)

Cheesy & lame

Super corny lines, mediocre acting and elementary plot.

Like any B grade movie, filled with unnecessary action sequence and sex (worst, without nudity). The lines/script are cringe worthy.

Every 10 minutes is 20 minutes of your life tou are never getting back. In just the first episode alone, they try to make every sentence said to be some kind of statement line.

Perhaps my expectations were wrong, I just never seen a B grade TV series on netflix before. If I were to watch it with the same goggles as that for Sharknado, it would probably be more entertaining. That being said, quite a big budget for a crap series.

Outer Banks (2020– )

Entertaining BUT irritating

Enjoyed the storyline, was kept entertained for both seasons. Couldn't stop watching it. But man oh man, are the characters stupid and irritating. At some point, I thought I couldn't finish the show due to their stupidity.

Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

DC took 1 step forward, and now 5 steps back

What a bad movie. Was it filmed in 1984 too? Bad effects, bad direction/cinematography, bad script, bad lines, bad everything. The actors in it are capable and deserve much better.

A star for Gal being bothered to go for IPL.

Salvation (2017–2018)

S1 good, S2 was convenient.

Season 1 was fresh and entertaining, and seemed to be more well thought out for its storyline. Season 2 however, has been lazy. Everytime the story hits a road block, a convenient turn happens. Also, does this show have no professional advisors? They really take the creative freedom and flex the extreme of reality to the maximum. The protocols of law and procedure changes at their convenience.

Dirty Dancing (2017 TV Movie)

Dreadful!

Have they not learnt anything from others? NEVER REMAKE A CLASSIC!

And i don't even think they can say this was for commercial/profit reasons, cos i don't think they made any.

i don't want todays generation to watch this, and think THIS IS Dirty Dancing. people need to be watchin the original. the funds would probably have gone to better use remastering the original with better sound and colour.

bad acting, and they took some creative liberties on the story too.

you cant even say this movie was a B-grade trying to be B grade, cos those, for what they are worth, are entertaining (think Sharknado and such).

Avoid at all cost.

Eye Candy (2015)

good basis for a storyline but unrealistic scenarios

I thought it was a good concept for a crime drama - serial killer meets stalker who hunts on a social media dating platform. Not too bad at all. They don't spare the gruesome crime scenes.

BUT the scenarios of having a member of the public (Victoria Justice) go bust down doors with the cops, work on a case, talk with suspects, etc. That really irritates me - that the show couldn't follow the protocols of the law, to make it as real as possible. She even calls the shots and makes the decisions in the dept.

Too ridiculous and far fetched for reality. If they only managed to find an angle for a story to tie all that in, and at least follow all the protocol and procedure of law enforcement, i would easily double my rating of this series.
