4400 (2021–2022)

Bad

Just finnished original and started this.

After two episodes, Im feeling sick.

This is not about series, this is all about race. So badly done, there are no words. Come on, its so bad attempt to make one race to look bad and others good.

And now I just have to write something more to be able to submit. Ok, music was also too cheerful.

Something more.. ok. Acting is so, so wooden.

Still more.. there is no suspens in this, none.

So now I think I can never send this.

The start was without any suspension, everything "wonderous" happened in couple of minutes.

Simply waste of time. But i will give it chance for just one episode, so here I go..

Let's Dream (2021)

Some good i this

I liked the idea in this movie. I also liked dreamy feeling this gave. Some scenery (near end, when driving car) was very impressive.

But.. What a hec was that talking?! It was very hard to understand what was said: it was all so mumbling! Very, very VERY bad thing in movie!

(English is not my native language, and I wasnt able to use subtitles.) There is couple even worst movies I have seen, so 3 from me.

Bad choices

This movie is good example how to ruin scene with wrong music. Near the end, in boat scene was in backround that song that has - politely said - not indeed pleasant sounding singer. His high pitched singing was sooo not for me and I had to turn volume down. And it was supossed to be touching and highlight scene. Bad move. I would be very careful when choosing music to that kind of scene. I would have given one or two more stars to this movie othervise.

Tried too much

This was boring, and I kept looking, how much longer it lasts.

Sleep. Wake up. Walk... It was a littlebit too much repetition.

I liked music and narrators voice, but this was just too long and tried to be too clewer.

After first episode, I will not see this anymore.

This is somekind of family drama series with spooky scenes. Nothing wrong with that, but I think this was quite boring and a littlebit confusing going back and foward in time. I looked good, so thats why 5 from me.

I dont think, I can say anything that hasn not been already said of this movie. Simply amazing in so many levels. I just love how everything connected together. Seeing him reaching his doughter through the time was so bittersweet. One of the best movies ever made.

Nothing new

This movie looked good and clean. Ending ruined movie: Henry had to use toilet or eat/drink. He must have felt tired sometimes. These issues was never explained. And it was so easy to see what was going to happen: sex and drama between characters. So no anykind of surprise in there. Wife was a b*ch to her husband. She should have been supportive, but no. She just had to throw everything against face and didnt do anything to save marriage. There is so much more with the idea of humanlike robot that could be done with movie like this. This was too lame and easy.

Lots of smoking (indoors), boobs, partial nudity, "party" (theres always party in 80s movies), idiotic idea of killing robots, nerd, jock, babes, 80s synth music and sounds and no "zombies" walking looking nothing but cellphones. Many todays movie seems quite lame compared to this.

Really strange movie. Im surprised, no one used "slow burner" term, like it is so trendy today. Really boring movie. And slow. Really slow. I mean really, really slow. Couple of scenes were interesting, but 95% of this was just waste of time. Its not artistic to shoot out of focus. It is just out of focus.

I dont mind not-so-good fx in movie, if there is a plot and even decent acting. But this. Oh dear. Aliens dont die with bullets, but with knives.. oh dear. There was simply too much stupidity in this movie to even start to write. I just dont get, how on earth anyone said: this movie is good and ready to be released. Oh dear. What a mess. I would have given 2 stars, because there is one even worse movie (100 degrees below zero) that has became my "starting" point. But I give this also 1 because some people have lost their minds and are giving 9 and 10 to this. Really? Best movie you have ever seen? Come on! Oh dear.

This looked good, well acted, had unique feeling. First I was going to skip because of the fighting (not my favorite genre) but Im glad I didnt. Hollywood should take a look at this and learn how to make movies.

I liked the idea in this. Maybe it was a little boring. Acting was quite good actually. But the ending.. or the lack of it. This kind of ending is not brave or artistic. Its cowardess not to give some explanation. Maybe they got out only after everyone quit? I would habe been something: you have to stay as long, but not get money. Maybe it was a sick joke? Frustraring and very lame decision to leave ending open.

This movie looked good. I liked pacing. Somebody might say this was slow. Sounds (fx) and music was weird, but in a good way.

Way too long movie. Beginning wasnt interesting in anyway. Too much arguing and yelling. I wished that the main chracter died after half hour. If I had a friend like that.. well I dont. Nobody would like to be around that type of person. Sound mixing was quite bad. I liked couple of soundfx in night scenes when the trees moved. Those night scenes were the best parts of the movie, but they were quite short. Quite a mess.

I liked the basic idea of this movie and there was couple interesting soundfx that I liked, and thats why I give one extra star. This was too long, and boring. If there was more action, it would have been better and more interesting. Sometimes, when people came out of the room, they came from different ends of the corridor. Not very careful work.

After start, when text said "present day", started 80s style music. I thought this movie took place in 80s. Well it didnt. I think film makers kind of tried too hard to mimic Stranger Things with music. ST had music much downbeat, but still same vibes. I didnt mind religious aspect, but clearly that also was too much trying to make this movie "big". Relationship with two main characters didnt feel ntural, and finalscene in cafe and in their new home felt also like it was trying to be something "big". Its hard to explain, but this should not have been trying to be something bigger in everything. It was like "lets take best things from every scifi movie (E.T. MIB, ST etc..) put them together, and we must get legendery hit movie". Acting was ok. Woody, but ok. No chemistry. Characters were a littlebit cliched. I like 80s music and sounds, but was they good in this? A little bit too long movie. I liked special fx. I really liked that ufo and how it just went away so quicly. It also looked good. One more thing: So big asteroid hitting to ground in the beginning would have made lots of damge.

I seem to be always nagging of sounds.. Well, after 20minutes I got enough of endless yelling and arguing, without reasons. I fastfowarded till end. There was few interestig synthsounds in music, and I liked colour in this movie, so thats why I dont give 1 star.

Like someone else said, sounds are very irritating. I had to put voulume to mute after that phone had been ringing minute or so. Otherwise I would recommend this to someone, who loves to see and listen people talking in phone, or who likes to listen many people speaking at the same time different stories. Really annoying. Idea itself was good but movie was too adhd for me.

Haunting episode

I cant say anything, that has not been said before. This episode and that beautifully sad melody, has been in my mind for many, many years. (I really liked when that song was played again in later episode). This episode is in its own league. Simply one of the best moments ever (if not the best) in television.

Sweet silence

100 degrees below zero is the worst movie I have ever seen. It gets 1 star from me .After seeing that, I have compared every movie against it. I thought I would never see any movie, that could be worse in any way. And here it came. Simply terrible audio mixing. Noises and music in every ****** scene. After 10 minutes my ears were bleeding. Very hard to hear/undertand what was said. (Im not native english speaker, but I watch movies without subtitles) And that high pitched sound all the time in the first half of the movie. I just cant believe how someone could have said "this is good sound mixing, lets use this". The whole movie was a completed mess, full of yelling, overused sounds, just too much everytging. Very irritating. Just a mess. And Cage.. Is there anyone as boring looking actor as he is?

Stupid characters

This is quite boring serie. I was watching it with my son, otherwise I would have quit after 2 or 3 episodes. Why are they being so stupid?! They dont try to lisen news from radio. They doesnt care much of storing food, water or medic. They do not try to contact authorities. They do not search other survivors and setup rescue centers. And that older man makes me to want to yell. He is like zombie, doesnt have but one expression, doesnt seem to know how to speak. So irritating I would slap him. And 10 soldiers cant shoot one "dog", but one woman makes it in seconds. Just stupid. I dont mind low budjet or lack of effects in movies, but stupidity...

I really was looking for to see this movie. Its so sad, that great original movies are being made to total mess. Come on. Scientic woman turns in to soldier just like that, just to mention one stupid thing.

I really didnt like aspergers and tourettes made fun. They are qualitys of a person, not "faults" per se. They also dont make anyone super human.

No thriller, no suspense , no dark feel like in original. Jokes did not work. What a hec were they thinking when they made this?

I dont say this is the worst movie I have seen. "100 degree below zero" is maybe the worst, so compared to that, I give 3.
