Silent Retreat (2016)

Not really a horror but more murder thriller

Good twist, but not a horror. The scenes do not scare you as the effects do not have much blood and gore. Needs better makeup and effects. Story line is ok but needs to have better script. Who fails to tell another person if something bad has happened and settles by saying "I have to tell you something " but is happy with the response of nothing.

Gremlin (2017)

Disappointing

Excitement, thrills, creepiness and suspense are too far and between. Not to mention the lack of atmosphere is bad, giving 'Gremlin' a frequently dull feel. The story is far too minimal and is bland and often ridiculous.

The visual effects are quite bad and the editing is sloppy, also too many instances of the camera work being unfocused and the sound/soundtrack kills the atmosphere with over-obviousness.

War of the Worlds (2005)

Great

This is made reasonable well but the book is much better. I would recommend reading the book.

This was made poorly. It could be much better if made with better graphics and a slight change to the story line.
