Star Wars Rebels: Trials of the Darksaber (2017)
A very different, but very brilliant episode.
I didn't remember this ep from when it first aired, but rewatching it now was so rewarding! Not only do Sabine's character development and back story really set up and drive what's to come, but the way it was done was so beautiful and helped create one of the most emotionally fulfilling episodes yet. On top of that, Tiya and Freddie's performances were both outstanding!
This is a whole new level for Rebels!
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Victory and Death (2020)
A work of genius!
Oh my god. I've just watched the final ever episode of The Clone Wars and I've been sitting here stunned for the last 5 or 10 mins. It was simply brilliant. The last 4 episode arc that ties everything together is some of the best tv, and best Star Wars ever made. And that final episode was truly harrowing and chilling, despite the fact we know what comes next.
I don't think I've felt this overwhelmed by something I've just watched since they took Ned Stark's head at the end of GoT s1, and that I didn't see coming.
