There is no excuse for this blatant error thecb 17 g had a gun turret

I was expecting this series to end with a bang and I was so disappointed that the cgi artist did not even after all the research the did put a chin turret on the b 17 g. This error is totally inexcusable! The rest of the episode was nice . I gave it a 6 and that is generous. So many CGI mistakes with the b 17s unforgivable!

The way the series ended was ok I will watch it again . Overall I'd give the series a c plus.

Why the writers had to contrive so many events when the reality is a better story.

If any CGI artist can explain to me why you made so many mistakes with all the reference material and the 4 or 5 b 17s to go see in the southern California area is inexcusable.

Killing County (2023)

This documentary is an excellent piece of film making well directed and well put together it is thought provoking which is what a good documentary should do.

The cinematography and footage and background on the history of Bakersfield is an important part of the history and understanding of Kern county culture, founded by people from the dust bowl in search of a better life, who brought their culture with them and transplanted it to Kern county with all their fears and prejudices. These factors contributed to the present day issues facing Kern county , Law enforcement needs to be held accountable and the monies should come from their pension funds and not from taxpayers funds.

Police reform should be among the top priorities

I live in Kern county this documentary reveals The truth about Kern county where the county sheriff Donnie Youngblood said don't shot them and wound them and pay millions in medical shoot to kill them and pay the family three million dollars and the family goes away sheriff Donnie youngblood, guess how much the county pays these families , guess what three million dollars. That's all a life is worth in Kern County California, it's cheaper to shoot and kill them, than save them and pay for medical care.

The documentary is definitely thought provoking and gives an insight to the police murder capitol of America.

The Greatest Beer Run Ever (2022)

This film touched me deeply

This film touched me on a deep level not many films now days do. It is a film to remind us how awful war is on everyone involved a war. What did my son fight for in Iraq? Nothing just like the Vietnam war . The United States will never be a victor in war, it continues to fight pointless wars.

The film begins with a hapless ner do well hero who believes in everything America stood for, the mythological America children are taught in schools.

Hen our here takes on a challenge from the colonel to deliver a beer to the men from the neighborhood in Vietnam.

Our hero boards a ship o Vietnam , arrives in Vietnam a few months later and , begins his journey to find his friends.

The 1st one is easy to find and is happy to see him.

He catches a plane to find his second friend , who is on the Frontline of the war and is not happy to see him. Sounds the night in a foxhole during a firefight and realizes how futile the war is This film reminds us how futile war is.

Makes his way back to Saigon and his ship is gone.

He gets caught up in the tet offensive , survives the night and finds his last friend in a blown up ammo dump Makes his way back home and realizes how much he was lied to about the American myth of a patriotic war.

Definitely worth a watch.

Watch it and weep for the victims.

The Batman (2022)

What happened to story development it's flat.

I have read about the lack of origniality of story telling in Hollywood well this film is a perfect example of that there is no story here, it is as flat as a pancake. The final hour is wasted the only high point in the film is the car chase.

Chris Nolans Batman trilogy is still the gold standard of Batman films and Tim Burtons Batman is an excellent stand alone treatment.

This one gets lost along the way the film is just flat everything feels forced, nothing to grab me or male me care about anyone or anything in this version. Stop already with Batman. I'm sure the actors phoned in their roles which is sad, such a great cast and no heart.

The Outfit (2022)

If you miss this gem you will regret it perfection.

It is very rare occurance these days to walk into a movie theater and find a gem like The Outfit. I really enjoyed this film the pacing the dialogue are perfect. Films do not get much more perfect than this. If you miss this gem you will regret it. Mark Roylance is such a consumate actor he gives the film its life and conscience. Just go and enjoy this masterpiece.

The Matrix Resurrections (I) (2021)

Over done, bloated and boaring the 1st film remade as what? It is such a shame;'I expected more unnecessary so much potential wasted. I get it they made it for the money it will bring in from a new generation who only know about the 1st film from their elders..watch Spiderman instead or anything else.

The Beatles: Get Back (2021)

Peter Jackson and his crew have done a magnificent job pulling and editing all of this footage together, no other director and crew could pull this off, Peter Jackson already showed us what he and his crew could do with documentary footage with their, They Shall Not Grow Old. This is worth the 9 hours now I want to see the other 50 or so hours of footage. Well worth my Saturday watching it my favorite band just regular blokes creating some beautiful music. The creative process the band went through to create this music is very insightful. I felt like I was in the room with them , very intimate.

I expect more like this from Peter Jackson and wing nut Productions.

The French Dispatch (2021)

Wes Anderson's films like a present

Wes Anderson's films are always a joy to watch, it's like Christmas morning opening a new present, one never knows what actor will show up in what role and bring a smile to one's face. The pastel colors, the mes en scene, the writing the dialog and the music , all make for an enjoyable experience. I eagerly await his next project.

No Time to Die (2021)

Missing a note a tone a texture

Daniel Craig's last outing as bond is definately missing a thread, a tone, a note , a texture. It just did not grab me like all the other bond films from Goldfinger, to spectre gave me something that grabbed me and held my attention. This Bond falls flat on that accord nothing to grab me, I am just an observer. Gone are the one liners, yes a few poorly delivered. I wonder if it were cut differently it would have held my attention more. It's missing the panache of the other bond films. Sad ending to a great franchise.

Ugh suspend all your disbelief in any way shape or form. The least the film makers could have done was film it in a real b 17 or b 17 mock up rather than that abortion of a cross between a b 17 and a b 24 fuselage. How about writers getting the nomenclature correct with engine 1 etc. The dialog sucked so unrealistic and unprofessional the plot made no sense at all. Director why flip the film over when the alleged heroine was climbing inverted from the belly turret to the engine to get her baby insane just stupid. Not even fun at all just stupid.. I might watch it again..

As a comedy I give it a 10 out of 10. It made me laugh hard about every 5 minutes. A most excellent end to the trilogy ..it just needed more cow bell. Enjoy. NURSE!

Ugh what has been touted as the next best film in the ex mormon facebook group is a very disappointing film. It's sad that such an important subject matter and a decent script did not translate well via the sub par actors to the screen. The 10s here are written by cast and crew and their friends. Dont be fooled

The Handmaid's Tale (2017–2025)

This has to be the best most perfect series produced to date. Excellent writing excellent cinematography, directing and top rate acting. Each episodes leaves me in tears and tears our a little piece of my heart. I love the society of the handmaidens. They are my heros. Watch it you will not regret it. Wow take a bunch of out of work actors throw them together in a show mix together and what do you get? Excrement to the max. I doubt it will get any worse but I have low hopes.
