Chasing the Sun (2020)
It's not only about rugby!
Brilliantly shot, edited and fast paced. It never gets boring. The personal background of the players are truly inspiring. It really illustrates the importance of great coaching, vision, goals and strategy. Rassie Erasmus as a coach is an absolute genius but it's he's empathy, belief, leadership, care, humanity and love he displays for the players is what makes him a legend.
The Killing (2011)
Should've concluded on 1 maybe 2 seasons
Season 1 was really good. Then it just went pear shaped and dragged. Conspiracy theories and extended plots just ends up being more of a underwhelming suspense soap opera. 1 maybe 2 seasons with a climax would've made this a great series but it's Still a try. You might enjoy it more than I did.
Extraction (2020)
Thin storyline, pinch of drama, loads of action
It's an action packed movie, great direction, cinematography, good action sequences and stunt co-ordination. Don't get hung up about the language, Dhaka, realism, etc. just enjoy it for what it was intended for. A gritty action movie. Chris was surprisingly very impressive as an action hero.
Batwoman (2019)
Absolute Garbage
Really don't get the feminist lesbian angle who dresses And behaves like a man paradox. Next will be Superman, Batman and Aquaman love triangle I'm sure that will boost ratings. Total garbage .
The Handmaid's Tale (2017)
Excruciatingly slow
Just drags on n on n on. Should've been done in 1 season. There's only so much of face close ups, background music and drawn out scenes one can handle.
The Following (2013)
Started out great but that was it Im afraid...
The first two episodes were very good but then it was all downhill from there.
Thin storyline is thin and even the twists are predictable. The FBI's characters are so idiotic that its quite insulting to the real FBI. There is no urgency in the FBIs characters or realism as to how one would expect given that there's a kidnapped child and cult killers on the loose.
And if all else fails throw in some more cult members. How'd a prisoner recruit so many followers from prison is also way to far fetched. It feels as if there are more cult members than FBI, swat, police, etc in the show.
The whole show has just become incredibly frustrating to watch.
