Intelligent and Quite A Hilarious Film

What a surprise this movie was! Found it on Passionflix under the title "The Morning After" It was honestly, BRILLIANT!! The characters/actors were SUPERB!! I love they way the Director weaved in & out of the present, that was PERFECTION!! Just totally grabs you, making you want more. The chemistry between them was off the charts! Their conversation was honest, intellectual, real, sexy, just completely on point, So incredibly believable. The actors were beautiful to watch. So many parts of this film were seriously HILARIOUS making me laugh out loud! This is definitely a hidden gem & I'm so glad I found it. Can't wait to watch it again! Bravo!!!!

Really Really Good Movie! Superb Actors!

Just watched this movie on Passionflix. WOW! It was perfection! The characters were so well developed throughout the film. The music was so perfect. The dialogue...Impeccable, Honest, Real. I'm just floored. Really did not expect this little indy film to touch me so. The actors are simply beautiful to look at, unpredictable, they hooked me...I just couldn't stop watching them, listening to every word. It just flowed so perfectly. I just have so much to say but I'm still just basking in the moment, so I'm kind of not doing it justice. Absolutely loved it! This felt like the most intense foreplay ever, but innocent at the same time... I can't explain it. Just really really good movie!! Would love a part 2!!!

WOW!!! THAT.WAS.INCREDIBLE!!!!! Bravo, bravo, BRAVO!! I have watched Passionflix Original movies before, but THIS....THIS was EPIC!!!! I haven't read the books, but I will now! SUPERB acting, everything was simply brilliant!! Giulio...WOW!!!!! Incredible actor, just AMAZING!!! Melanie, WOW! The entire movie just left me BREATHLESS!!! Highly recommend!!!!

What an INCREDIBLE show! I laughed, I cried, it had everything!!! The acting didn't feel like acting. It was so real, you just felt like a part of this family. Jono was OMGGGGGG so GREAT!!!! He's, simply put, PERFECTION. The entire cast was BRILLIANT! I am SOOOO sad it's over, but SOOOO happy I watched!

I Hate Love (2012)

Powerful!

Intense, hard to watch sometimes, beautiful, pulls feelings out of you, coming of age, depression, friendship, love, choices, consequences, regrets, in other words...it was everything! The music was absolutely on point, the moments of silence with vibrations only were incredibly powerful. Two beautiful leads, acted even more beautifully..sometimes a entire world of words with just one look...those actors were absolutely BRILLIANT! The film was in my opinion, and forgive me as I am not a writer...but to me it was like a butterfly..kind of ugly at first, then a spectacular, painful, glorious metamorphosis into a beautiful ethereal creature... I simply ADORED this movie!!!

Juliet, Naked (2018)

Definitely Worth Watching

That was a really good movie. The whole relatable premise of all the mistakes we wish we hadn't made in life, the consequences of those mistakes & how one deals with them. The beauty of second chances late in life & the power of love healing all. Good humour also from the ex-boyfriend. Loved Ethan Hawke, he's always so down to earth despite his BRILLIANT understated talent. Leading lady was fantastic as well. I truly enjoyed it.

I really liked this movie

It had me at hello. I really liked this movie. The female lead was outstanding. She was so talented, had many layers of complexity and acted the part so well. She really drove the story. The male lead was believable. He's just brilliant, the way he effortlessly plays this geeky sort of loner guy who just doesn't want to be alone on New Years Eve. His transformation is believable and you're just rooting for him the whole way through. The best friend reminds me of a young John Cusack. His proposal was so touching, even though his girlfriend didn't deserve it. The story line was simply perfection. It kept me enthralled. It was just a really good movie, in my opinion. I would definitely recommend this.

Magic Mike XXL (2015)

Hot Hot Hot

Wow, Channing Tatum was So Hot, I can't even... The entire cast was great! Kind of missed Mathew McConaughey in the beginning, but I was drawn in by the hot guys, so after a bit I forgot all about him. Some very nice surprises, Twitch, from "So you think you can dance", whoa, I knew he could dance, but whoa, who knew he could be so sexy at it. Jada Pinkett Smith was brilliant as the MC. She was inspiring to watch, a true pro. Who knew that Matt Bomer could sing like that, and to do it live and still move so sexy, well that was just delish. Even the guy who looks like Mickey Rourke in "The wrestler" was endearing. Joe Manganiello is one hot papi, even threw in a little "fifty shades" in there for us. The tasty treat Latino made me blush. Would have liked to hear more funnies from Gabriel Iglesias, he is a really funny guy but he was mostly absent, maybe his schedule didn't allow it, but that's why I gave it a 9. The real show stopper was the last dance with Twitch & Channing, Wow, Wow, Wow. Sexy doesn't even come close to describing it, OMG... you just have to see it, that's all I'll say. The scenes in the mansion were some of my favorite. Andy McDowell was a pro as always and such a joy to watch. What a relatable character, I hope to have her happy ending one day after a failed miserable marriage, to end up with a hot sexy as hell man who knows I'm the "one". I left the theater breathless and smiling from ear to ear, as did all the women there. It delivered, it had everything I wanted and then some, Wow is my final statement, Wow.

Fifty Shades of Grey (2015)

Don't listen to the Critics

The critics are not the targeted audience. This movie was intended for the fans and it delivered. I went to the movie last night, one day before the actual premiere and I must say I enjoyed it immensely. The audience was 98% women, no surprise. (If men were smart they'd be at the movie theater;) since it was all women.) Every one of us left the movie giggling, talking about how awesome it was and that we just can't wait a year to see part 2. I read all the books and it was definitely true to the books. I'm sure the fact that E.L.James was a co- producer helped. The casting was brilliant. All of the actors embodied the characters so well. The general consensus at the theater was that Dakota Johnson was surprisingly really good in her role of Anastasia Steele and Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey, well he was just perfection personified. Another surprise was that there were some quite funny & witty moments.There were also some intense moments where you could literally hear a pin drop. I would personally like to thank E.L.James for choosing those amazing jeans Christian wears, Omg, sexy doesn't even describe it! I disagree wholeheartedly with the critics who say there is only 20 minutes of sexy scenes. The entire movie has undertones of sensuality and the scenes that do include steaminess are beyond spectacular and fulfilling and honestly quite racy. Dakota is absolutely stunning in her unabashed nakedness and Jamie, hold on... pause for breath, Jamie is simply GLORIOUS. With regards to the boardroom meeting, critics have said it was laughable and that there was no actual sex. I completely disagree; subtlety and the use of words can be one of the most enticing and erotic things one can experience. It gently guides the imagination to explore the unseen. It's one of the reasons readers enjoy books because it's not all there in front of you, it allows you to interpret it on a more personal level. One of my favorite scenes was the first time they have sex, Wow,wow, wow. That was so hot! Jamie, I was in love with you before, now I'm obsessed ;)

Of course the Red room scenes were pretty sensual as well. If I were rating this movie solely based on entertainment value, I would have given it a 10+. I gave the movie a 9 out of 10 mostly for technical reasons. I am no expert, but I would have enjoyed a few more things. I would have liked the music (which is brilliant by the way) to have been louder, more intrinsic to the movie. I know the movie has "shades of gray", maybe that was intentional, but I would have liked more color. The screen lacked a bit of luster, color & vividness which I think would have brought out the scenes more.I also would have enjoyed the famous quotes of the movie like "laters baby & you are mine" to have been more pronounced, more audible, instead they were whispered. However the audience was looking for those phrases, most of us sighing when we heard them. I also wish the pace wasn't quite as hurried, but then again it is a movie and there are time restrictions. I guess in the end it all felt like it went so fast because we were all glued to the screen. With that said, if you are a fan of E.L.James' books, Run to the theater. It was definitely worth the wait!

Man of Steel (2013)

The Critics are WRONG!!!!!

I made the mistake of reading the critics' reviews. They were so wrong! I LOVED this movie! It was EPIC! I absolutely loved it!!! The ending felt right out of a comic book. It was spectacular! This is a Superman for our generation! I'm tired of all the comparisons from past Superman's. This was spot on. I grew up watching the black & white episodes on TV of Superman and I absolutely LOVED this movie!!! Henry Cavill was SUPERB, he embodied all the goodness & rightness of Superman and he was so true to the character. Russell Crowe as Jor El was fantastic!! The entire cast was Great! Loved Amy Adams as Lois Lane, reminded me of how strong & determined we women can be when we believe in something. Go see this movie, it is truly CAPTIVATING!!!!

The Tudors (2007–2010)

A Great Series!!!!

I was excited to watch this series, but before committing to many hours of my time, I decided to read the reviews first. I must say that after watching the entire Season 1, most of the reviews, in my opinion, were completely wrong & quite exaggerated. As for the historical inaccuracies, I cannot comment, as I am no expert. But as a viewer I must say this series has captivating and excellent entertainment value. Jonathan Rhys Meyers & Sam Neill were exceptional in their roles. I could feel that they both poured everything they had into portraying these characters with conviction. Henry Cavill...well, what can I say...I may have watched the entire Season, just to look at him; he's so unbelievably gorgeous & a fine speciman of a man. Maria Doyle Kennedy was superb in her role as the ever-loyal somewhat saintly martyr "The Queen", however I cringed when I heard her butcher the Castillian language, that was a great oversight. Natalie Dormer as well as the rest of the cast & crew were great. I disagree with the reviews that the characters did not develop. I was riveted, I could not wait to see what happened next. It was beautifully filmed and yes the costumes & scenery were exceptional. I disagree whole-heartedly that the sex was pornographic. That's simply ridiculous & quite prudish on behalf of the commentators. The sex was mainly in episode 1, as any pilot would have to entice the viewers, but as the episodes went on, I was so enthralled by the story line that I didn't even notice anything else. I did not see anything at all with regards to excessive torture, violence or rape, so I think those comments were completely inaccurate. I too was compelled to look up facts online & I think that is a good thing. It made me want to know more about this era. I love reading Historic Romance novels & this series had the best of it: intrigue, history, balls, love, romance, betrayals, excitement, sadness, everything you would want in a good book is here to enjoy in all its glory. I would highly recommend anyone to watch this series. I can't wait to see more!!!

Ghost Graduation (2012)

A Must See!!!

Saw this movie at the Miami International Film Festival. It was one of the funniest movies I have ever seen in a long time! The Spaniards definitely do humor the best!!! Props to the actors, they were so true to their characters. You can't help but fall in love with them! The filming was spot on. The Directing was visionary & quite intelligent. The scenes were flawless.The timing was perfect for the jokes. The writing/dialogue was witty, smart, charming & absolutely hilarious!!!! Everyone at the theater was laughing so hard & non-stop, including myself. The music was great! Brought me back to my high school days!I enjoyed it tremendously!!! I would recommend this movie highly!
