Boldly irreverent and Killer Funny
27 July 2017
Immediately identifiable as my new favorite show after episode 2. Also, episode 7 may be the funniest TV show episode ever. I had to watch it twice. Many people may never see this show because it is on IFC but I was able to download the app and watch it on my iPhone. This is one must see show. One warning, if you do not like vulgarity in many forms, forget about it.

Overtold, but has entertainment value.. Most do not know it's based on a true story

I was 10 years old when my sister took me to see the image of Jesus head on the screen door in Port Neches Tx in 1969. There were a lot of people forming a human fence around the house. We didn't have to pay anything, but then again it was a new phenomenon. I don't remember any hysterics and i was never sure whether I believed it was real or not. In one of my picture albums I have an old Polaroid of the door with the image. I never knew the film was out until one night I could not sleep and I was channel surfing. Brought back a lot of memories. If it was real and a sign... Why didn't anything ever come of it? Several years later the lady that owned the house died and the image disappeared. The movie? Eh

Warning: Spoilers
I have used IMDb for years to look up movies. I have never been compelled to write about one. But I must warn anyone thinking about watching this movie. Please for God's sake, find another movie. I cannot begin to describe how boring this movie is. I rented it because the actors in it are normally first rate, well they were terrible and the directing was ridiculous. It's still on here at my house, it is near the end, and I could care less about how it ends. I just wasted 2 hours of my life, it feels like a day and a half, or a half a day depending on what scene I am watching. Shoot me now. The premise is that an FBI agent is protecting a young boy from the mafia family that his father worked for. The boys family was killed by the mafia and the FBI agent was semi-responsible because he was protecting the boys family before the father testified against the mafia. However, one of the FBI agents friends leaks the info to the mafia family, thus the family is killed but they missed the boy. This premise could have made for a riveting and action packed movie, it is neither, it is packed with meaningless dialog, scenes that are unnecessary and forgetful characters.

Two thumbs down and I only have one hand

Warning: Spoilers
The only reason I kept watching was because I was guessing at everything that would happen and of course IT DID. My wife and children (they rented the movie) wanted to end it before it was over but I kept expecting some kind of surprise. It has to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Again, as in the previous post... why didn't they wish for their son to come back as he was when alive. Also, who would only wish for 25K if they had 3 wishes? The acting was below horrible and the story was only horrible... the story actually had potential if a few twists would have been thrown in and a completely different set of actors were used (although I am sure that some of the fault of the acting was with the director). You could see everything coming from a mile away. Good lord man.. with all the screenplays and wanna be directors out there, how could they actually release this mess?
