A Man for Every Month (2017)
aka: My Favorite Bachelor
Starts off slow, but for fans of Hallmark movies you'll find a rhythm & appreciation in the awkwardness that is the lead character. Storyline carries similarities between 90s teen movies such as Never Been Kissed and She's All That, which actress Carlson Young pulls off nicely. Appreciate the nerdiness, and variation in the predictability.
Disappointed that at time of this review not all cast & crew recorded on and David Sutton of Gilmore Girls fame played cool guy role that deserves recognition.
Wonder Park (2019)
Inside out meets Captain Underpants
An uplifting animation for kids to learn what is to use their imaginations and recognize their emotions through tough life experiences.
Mary Poppins Returns (2018)
It was a nice try!
Cast and storyline alone might have gotten it a better rating but it's supposed to be a musical and the songs were really forgettable and any fan of the original knows they can still sing "a spoonful of sugar" or "supercalifraglisiticexpialidocious" for more than the just greatness that is Julie Andrews.
All Rise (2019)
if hallmark based a movie on the lives on reality TV judges
So it's not great butt it's good in that it has its humor and some drama and in this trump era i think hollywood is just putting to the screen what they wish could be simple solutions to the chaos. a break for our brains to stop taking life so seriously and/or just wish it really could be that easy for the under dog.
might not last but if your hallmark movie fan, you might appreciate the occiasonal judicial version of a happily ever after.
