I really want to like this show, not only because I like and enjoy the characters, but also because I'm a huge fan of Alan Ball's work. I love his weirdness, his refusal to follow the rules, his need to shock, and I especially like how he's not afraid to question the conventions.
However, something about this show feels off. Some parts feel forced, others are done sloppily and naively.
We are 6 episodes in, and I am still waiting for SOMETHING to happen!
I must admit though, I still retain hope that we will be surprised and shocked, and that the show will deliver. Otherwise, I don't see it being renewed for a second season.

I expected so much more of this movie. I love movies about bending mind, time and matter, but this was just shallow. There was a funny joke here and there, but other than that there script seems to have been written by the same Hollywood movies who write all the other crap. The cast was good though, and special effects excellent.

Wow, I am so surprised by the number of negative reviews. This movie was exactly what I expected, done in the same non-serious manner as the original. I loved the cast, and thought they were hilarious. Chris Hemsworth was a riot, too. Or maybe my mommy brain is making me think this is a fun and funny flick. In any case, don't expect a strong, plausible plot. It's Ghostbusters, after all.

The show looked promising, and the first episode had me hooked, thinking it was going to be really interesting. It wasn't. It disappointed me. The story was weak, they worked too hard to point us in the wrong direction, but to me it was pretty obvious who did it from very early on. They should have hid it better. Shame really, cause the cast was good.
