Gehri Chaal (1973)
a great James bond thriller !!!
in this great movie, jeetendra gave a good follow-up on the success of farz. this film consolidates jeetu's acting prowess to match Hollywood thrillers of that time.
jeetu, hema & amitabh displayed their acting capabilities & excelled. talking about the timing, the film was well directed; the suspense was great and all the action scenes were very thrilling. i recall the scene where jeetu's jeep was prompted by the bad guys to enter the truck on motion. that was a landmark direction by the director & very good action displayed by jeetu.
prem chopra, as a villain was undoubtedly remarkable. it is indeed a fascinating film & a must watch for lovers of James bond thrillers.
considering this film & its success, another film starring jeetu & amitabh should have been made to give Indian audience all over the world another thrilling time.
Jyoti Bane Jwala (1980)
a very well packaged film !!!
talking about packaging, this jyoti bane jwala is a well packaged product for movie lovers the world over.
this is another smashing hit from tirupathi pictures. jeetu excels in all spheres. i have long awaited a film like this. it's story, screenplay and direction are superb. dasari did a great job. and jeetu and the rest of the star cast including vinod mehra excelled.
in my view, the film marks a turning point in jeetu's flourishing career and it did added to his acting image as a good actor.
all the action scenes are great. the dual character plays of jeetu is very convincing. it gives me a very good impression that director has a major role getting the best out of every actor. that is the revelation that dasari gave me of jeetendra.
jeetu is indeed a wonderful actor !!!
even 24 years after, the film still remains a must watch.
Aasha (1980)
beautiful movie !!!
this is one of the smoothest, coolest and most beautiful movie ever produced in bollywood.
a very cool movie starring jeetu, rena roy and rameshwari. the plot, the scriptwriting, the characters were well portrayed. j. om prakash is a master in love story.
the songs are very stimulating. the song 'ashaon ke sawan me' is a masterpiece. jeetu and rena looked extremely radiant and classic. jeetu is ever good in love songs. he is extremely gifted, and directors who understand how to exploit this gift and ability in jeetu enjoy the comfort that he radiates in doing love scenes. he is really a blessing to Hindi filmworld.
aasha is a film to watch any day !!!
Khudgarz (1987)
a very interesting saga
this is perhaps the most superb starrer of jeetu and shatrughan sinha. this movie displays a thoroughly written script, excellent directorial exploits and superb acting by the 2 major stars, their actresses and others.
i really enjoy the crude interplays between jeetu and sinha. seeing best of friends becoming overnight enemies with hatred grown to the level of destroy the other party is alarming. interestingly, they put up excellent acting.
rakesh roshan settles down to write the Hollywood version of cain & abel in the bollywood way. he deserves every commendation in the way he exploits every bit of the script to suit bollywood masala.
khudgarz shows the high intellectual displays of the director, producer, script-writer and all the actors. kudos to all of them.
Roop Tera Mastana (1972)
wonderful movie!
in this film, jeetu must have been about 30 yrs old - he comes across as a mature, young, energetic man. watching him closely will reveal that jeetu is a outstandingly handsome. the showcases his dramatic style in acting; exemplary dressing styles. at that time, to me, he becomes the most good looking man in showbiz - though that record is still unbeatable bcos one will see every upcoming actor wanting to become a jeetendra. he is indeed a blessing to the Hindi film world. this film, despite a social drama/love story, he excels in all ramification - though i don't know how it faired at the box office. mumtaz was a very good complement to jeetu as in all their other films.
Haqeeqat (1985)
a unique movie!
i watched this movie in 1988 and i loved it.in all my 30 years of followership of Hindi movies, it's the first film that an Indian star will go fully martial. it's another plus for jeetu as a trend setter in bollywood. he did a good justice to that climax scene where he confronted those bad guys working for prem chopra - he fought like he had never fought before. that fight scene lasted for about 5 minutes; and jeetu thrilled me unbelievably. i can't imagine how long it would have taken him to train and perfect those martial art techniques and thrills. he always gave his best in his films. as a matter of fact, jeetu has over the years convinced me as the best in fight scenes in Hindi movie world. he displays the intrigues of the king of action films. i later got the hint that the film did not achieve a box office success. however, jeetu and jaya prada did creditably well in their roles. jeetu is wonderful as ever.
Badle Ki Aag (1982)
a superb thriller!
this film gives a very thorough revelation of uncertainties in life. a lovely, peaceful family; all of a sudden met with tragic incidence of separation, suffering and disappointment.
this is a well directed film; kudos go to rajkumar for a brave direction. even though sometimes the film will appear confusing - it will brace up again with good thrill. the story flows flawlessly; i think i really appreciate the suspense.
not every one will always want to see such a disappointment happening to a family in life; but the director goes to show his thorough sense of realism.
jeetu, dharam and sunil; in fact every actor in this great movie did a good job. long awaited dharam and sunil coming together threw some sparkling into the film. i recommend the film for sporty relaxation.

Ek Hi Raasta (1977)
great suspense!
the film is in the line of many of other jeetu's movies where the plot forms a trilogue. he is found in between 2 women - the wife and his concubine. it is a very good lesson; the reverse of apnapan - this time the culprit is jeetendra. as usual, jeetu looks outstandingly, dashingly handsome. in films where the producer/director is chanced to display the handsomeness of jeetendra, they always do a good job. and that is why i always appreciate Hindi screenplays. jeetu looks great with his amazing hair style of the 70s (check out the song 'i like what you're saying'). i watched this movie in 1978 - and it still looks fresh in my memory. watching all his trilogues e.g. maang baro sajna, tohfa, souten etc is delighting. as far as i'm concerned he is the best actor who gives his best with every film he acts; with versatile roles.
Shiv Ram (1991)
shiv ram is a great entertainer!
wonderful film. this is another of the great star Jeetu's starrers. in this film, he continues to display how outstanding an actor he is. he is best in Hindi movieworld, despite all odds. i've always adored jeetendra. he is as far as i am concerned the best thing that has happened to bollywood. watching his films in the past 30 years and reading the critics talking about his acting capabilities, i have come to understand that to be a great hero in bollywood is not easy. he has weathered severe storms - the critics will tear him down. despite all these, he became an icon. the audience love him. i am proud of him; and i hope to meet him one day as a beloved actor.
