an excellent book by Marco Denevi and an excellent adaptation. however, i think the American adaptation sucks, the story isn't followed as in denevi's novel, neither the psychology of the characters. try and read the book or watch the Argentinian movie, but not the American one. the novel is highly recommended for all ages. excellent performance of all the actors, everybody caches the feelings of the character. the best novel, after ''the giver'' i highly recommend this movie. you will love it. i did. everything is so perfectly written, every detail, every Gothic detail, and it even includes Poe's poem ''annabel lee'', only that changed.
