Warning: Spoilers
Nowhere near as entertaining as the first two movies but better than the embarrassing PG-13 outing of the last one. It's time to put this franchise to rest. Some of the set pieces and special effects are really below average. Especially the latter, such poor quality has no place in a 2023 movie. In terms of the cast, Jason Statham pretty much carries the movie and Iko Uwais' talents are really wasted here. The most puzzling decision is not to give the audience the satisfaction of seeing Iko face Tony Jaa. Major missed opportunity. 50 Cent adds very little value and the plot might have been written on chat gpt. I love old school action movies so not a complete waste for me personally. Definitely wait until it hits VOD. Not worth the price of admission.

Rambo (2008)

Back to basics
27 January 2008
Sylvester Stallone should be lauded for coming through with a great action movie. In an age when action genre is nothing more than pretty boys with collection of stuns(think Bourne Identity, Mission Impossible), here is an old school action star showing everybody how to make a 100% pure violent action movie. The bad guys are just plain evil with no crazy gimmicks or gadgets. They are just plain mean SOBs. Rambo is our relentless hero who always comes through and delivers the justice in his own violent manner. I remember a while ago I was watching Rambo 2 and thinking to myself that they just don't make action movies like they used to. Stallone made this movie for action fans who have been longing for some pure violence, without any gimmicks or complex plot lines. Good guys on one side, the bad guys on the other and when it is all said and done, only one man will still be standing. Enjoy the movie. It sure is a good one.

Pretty entertaining

Robi and his wife reside in a big industrial city. Just your average couple who are caught up in a fast paced, gadget saturated life. They indulge themselves in an artificial food as they enjoy their technology oriented world. However,Robi's life turns upside down as they decide to go on a cruise for some long overdue vacation time. Unfortunately, when the cruise ship gets caught up in a storm, Robi finds himself in a modern day(by modern I mean 1976)Robinson Crusoe story.

I saw this movie for the first time, back when I was 9 years old. Recently, I managed to stumble on it in a video shop. After all these years, this movie still can stand as one of the funniest that I have ever seen. Very enjoyable, satisfying comedy. If you manage to get your hands on a copy, check it out. All around a good comedy movie.

A true Azeri classic
21 December 2004
This is one of the best musicals Azerbaijan has ever produced. It's full of wonderful music by a great Azerbajanian composer Uzeyir Hajibeyov. "Arshin Mal Alan" took the Soviet Union by storm when it was released in 1945. To this day, the movie holds a special place in the hearts of millions. One only needs to ask any descendants of soviet union about this movie and their faces will surely be lid up with smiles. Iosif Stalin, who was the head of the Soviet Union at the time of the musical's release was so captivated by the picture that he gave all of the actors a special honorary recognition. This timeless musical has produced many copycats that don't even come close to the original classic. This Azerbaijanian produced musical is the only one that justifies the magnificent music of Uzeyir Hajibeyov(the crown jewel of Azerbaijanian Music). Witty plot, beautiful music, wonderful singing and great acting by Azerbaijanian actors make this musical a timeless classic.
