The script feels like it was written for 4 year olds. Lots of exposition, lots of coincidences that make the plot move forward. Characters just disappearing from the movie so another actor can do his part. Apparently NATO is not a thing anymore in this movie. Aruba only has a total of 10 marines on the islands military base. A marine that just got out of basic knows how to freefall parachute with full kit on. All these things make it a bad movie. However it is also hilariously bad, because of all these aspects. Some of the lines that are delivered are unintentionally funny. The characters are also just caricatures of military personnel what makes it funny. People just finding each other in a vast jungle without a clear reason is also really funny for some reason. All and all I would not recommend this to go and see this in theaters, but watching this at home with some buddies it could be really funny, especially if you know anything about the military.

Appearantly Austria only has 20 police officers.

I was torn between a 6 and a 5. A 6 because it's just dumb fun action. But a 5 because this dumb fun action is getting more unrealistic by the minute.
So in the first sequence of events the main character is invincible and is just fighting goons that don't really have access to weapons. Then more and more powerfull enemies show up. Helicopters with missiles that miss when need to. Cover that is sometimes bullet proof even though it is made out of wood. In the beginning you suspend your disbelief and you think, ah well just dumb fun action.
But then comes the second sequence of action scenes in vienna austria. Appearently austrian law enforcement, army, airforce etcetera suck. They let a helicopyer fly into austrain airspace that has a freaking minigun on it. Men with machine guns wearing highly functional bane masks step out of cars. The respons of the police: send some regular patrol units in like cannon fodder. They get killed ofcourse. Then later they send in another two armored cars and 1 helicopter. They get killed and that's it.
Meanwhile the main baddy does his thing and gets defeated by our hero. But hey why double tap this guy like you do with all other goons. Just let the guy live, it could be fun. Then baddy gets back up and kills hero's friend. But our hero escapes in the baddy's helicopter, so he is stuck on the top of the sky scraper right? WRONG! Somehow he just walks right down. Appearantly the Austrians only have 20 cops or couldn't be bothered to send more.

Midnight Monologue

This movie has a decent story concept and it had me curious for an episode or two. But soon it became clear to me that the story was way too thin to cover 8 hours of runtime.
It is a lot of monologues being held by the main and side characters that are just plain boring. Maybe the writers thought they were being very clever or existential, but i started skipping through some of the monologues with the ff button on my remote. It usually starts of with one character asking a question to another and all of a sudden a whole monologue comes out. The topic are often religious or existential. And if the characters are not giving a monologue, someone is citing scripture to pad runtime.
Characters don't act very logically and because of the padded runtime it just feels very dumb and slow. In the end they whip out a character that i appearently should care about, but I haven't seen him up to that point. So why should i care about someone like that.
If you have 8 hours to spare and you want a show that you can run in the background while you are cleaning the house, this is the show for you. If you want to see a good horror show and actually care about characters, go watch squid game!
