In a movie theater, I would leave the room in 20/30 minutes. No more than that. Hiwever in Netflix you can bear a little more waiting for something better in the end. I will tell you one thing. I could not understand the end of the movie. I have no idea what antrax is and how it would contaminate and kill Phill. The scene in which Pete cuts slices of a dead cow leather is fully disconnected from everything. I neede to google to understand. That is the worst western of the mivie history. I strongly recommend you to sleep instead of loosing two hours to see a nowhere movie. I can't get any reason for it to be in tge Iskar. Not even the worst French movies are si boring. Note zero.

THe worst movie on WWII

I am fully disappointed with that movie. Brazilian specialized press is saying that is the best movie of the year. Elio Gaspari in his papers' column said today the movie is excellent. I fully disagree. First of all it is a boring movie. I had two or three times the wish of leaving the theater. As a matter of fact, some guys did so. Second, is a quite illogical movie, regarding space and time. They mixed together time shifted events, and I just realized that reading the critics. Third is a type of horror movie in which the intention is to scare you. Why the sound is so loud? I had the impression Count Dracula would show himself up to bite some soldiers' neck. After spending and loosing 5USD with the ticket and regretting not to leave the theater before movies end, I realized that was the worst movie on WWII ever shot. I dare to say that is the worst movie ever shot about any war, not just WWII.

The Chatô's biography by Fernando Morais is typically the type of book once you have closed it will never be reopen. It is a very bad book, although the depicted character is a fascinating man. The movie managed to be worse than the book, because he picked up several of the fake Chatô's stories and mixed them all together as a stupid nightmare. Being a type of hallucination, the movie has no touch with reality. As an example, the dead Pres. Vargas with blood on his shirt plays a game with Chatô's on a TV show. There are scenes that none could understand unless they have previously read the book. The ridiculous scene in which Chatô's is peeing in a glass bottle in a Church refers to an incident in which the Brazilian ambassador Chatô is actually peeing in Queen Elizabeth's Coronation. Could anyone believe in such stupid story? It is difficult to identify the worst scene, but I believe the worst is the last one. Chatô is agonizing in a hospital, his mistress arrives there, removes from Chatô's faces all assisted oxygen breathing devices, takes her pantie out, steps on the bed and sits on his face. It is the most stupid cunnilingus I have ever seen. I want my money back. Not the one spent to buy the ticket, because I saw that "thing" through streaming, I want the money given by the Brazilian authorities to finance this peace of Crap. Briefing the issue, you are strongly recommended to never go to Brazilian movies. We don't know how to make them. Argentinians do and their movies are fine. So, give my money back.

It is, unfortunately, a Brazilian tradition. We are very good in music, TV' s series and soap operas but we are lousy movie makers. Ones can find mistakes in the script, in the sequence, everywhere in almost all films. New and old ones. Brazilian movie makers think they are Italians, but they are not. They think they are Fellini, Antonioni, etc, but they aren't. They are just a poor Selton Mello, and that males a great difference. Difference between somebody behind the cameras and nobody. That is typically a nobody movie. Dull, boring and a never ending movie. It is a movie showing Brazilian inland by a guy that had never been there and does not knows anything about there. The sequences in the countryside of Minas Gerais state are meaningless, false and fake. The dialogs in Portuguese sounds also fake: no local accent, no regional terms, no nothing. The make-up is also fake. There are female countrywomen leaving the crops after a day of work with a very nice hair, straight from a beauty parlor. And that awful movie, like all others in Brazil was financed by different levels of public entities with our people's money. But the core issue of my opinion is that this a RACIST movie. There is a single scene in which the character of Selton Mello, without any dramatic reason, says crystal clearly that black men smell bad. In other words black people stench. And I don't know the reason the movie was nominated to the Oscar, considering we are the second largest "African" Country in the world.
